[Resolved] Nokia - E62 — Defective set and poor service
I have purchased Nokia-E62 of your company make by considering your brand of much repute by ignoring all the other companies. It may not be out of place to mention here that i am using mobile services since the day of beginning when using of mobile was considered as a luxury in India and from day one i have got the same number and i am using your brand since then Nokia i.e. 3310, Nokia 1100, Nokia 6800, Nokia E62. As i need keyboard of the whole digits firstly, i got Noika 6800 which is still working with my clerk. But when i saw your add in the paper i opted for E62 but it didnt work properly. I purchased the mobile set on[protected] against bill no.3591 bearing set no.[protected]. But the same got a defect in the month of June 2007 upon which i contacted Nokia care center situated at shop no.1, Ranjit Plaza, Bhupindra road, Patiala. Those people kept my mobile for than a fortnight and when I contacted them thrice, they told me that your mobile is under survillence and we will infrom you later on which they didnt bother. Again I contacted them at their shop where one of the person sitting there told me that it has got some water retention and they will charge Rs.1400/- for getting the mobile OK. Having no option i had to pay Rs.1400/- but under protest as my mobile set was still under guarantee period it was new set and there was no question of any water retention. When I demanded receipt for the payment, the person sitting there very reluctantly issued the receipt. Thereafter again I was asked to come after a fortnight but again the mobile was not got set right by them and i was asked to contact in the next week. Again when i contacted on the next week, I was given my hand set but that was again not working. Again it was given to them which they returned to me after a fortnight but without yielding any result. When I lodged my protest again they took it and kept it with them which they returned after a week but that was without any result. Now again the mobile set is with them for more than a month and my repeated telephone reminders, visits proved futile. Every time I had a talk with Mr. Harjinder Singh (Mobile no.[protected]) and every time he would say that i will send a mail to the company to get you a new mobile. Seeing no alternative now i have lodged a protest with your good self hoping that you will replace my mobile with new set. I being a professional person does not have enough time to visit time and again at Nokia care and get the same reply and that too without any of my fault. The receipt no. vide which they have charged Rs.1400/- is 2228 dated[protected]. So soliciting a favourableand prompt action from your side this time.
