[Resolved] Nokia E66 — Blank Display
Regret to inform that we had purchased Nokia E-66 from The Mobile Store (Essar Telecom Retail Ltd. Ansal Plaza New Delhi) on 17th Sep'08. Immediately after 2-3 days, we had noticed that the phone getting discharged after a short time and screen got blank. As the user was out of India, we had forwarded the set to Essar Telecom in the last week of October 2008 for immediate replacement. They had expressed their inability to replace the same and advised to contact Nokia Care. After that we have been rigorously following up with Nokia Care Centre (Micro Services at Kalkaji) but every time they return the set without even checking it thoroughly. During this course, they even replaced the battery of the instrument but the problem still cannot be resolved. The current Job Sheet No.[protected]/081210/47 of 10th Dec is still pending with Micro Services. They are still not ready to replace the instrument even then it is sent to repair centre thrice without any successful result. During this period, we are even not provided with the standby instrument.
We are really repenting on our decision of buying Nokia E66 due to harassment and inconvenience faced by us for the last one and a half month. We are now only left with an option to move to Consumer Court to sue Nokia for such poor service standards and after sales service.
