Dear Sir,

I had purchased Nokia Handset (Model Name - 5610d-1, ESN/IMEI NUMBER– [protected], PRODUCT CODE – 552318, INSTRUMENT TYPE-PHONE, TECHNOLOGY TYPE- GSN) on 02.02.2008 from Paragon Shop, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

From the day of purchase, the handset is showing the frequent problem of sudden switching off. This handset has been sent more than three times to Nokia service centre (Rama telecom) at Udaipur, Rajasthan, but the problem still persists. Here I would like to mention that this service centre is around 15 kms from the place where I stay. It’s really problematic and very tiring for me to go to the shop after the regular office work. For my official work I have to travel a lot in different parts of India, where mobile is an absolute necessity to keep a track with the clients and also with office. For this problem with my mobile my work is also getting affected.

Due to repetition of this problem, I request you to kindly change the present handset with a new one for your customer satisfaction.

I hope this letter will be addressed promptly and my problem will be resolved within 7 days of time span.
In case it is not resolved within a week’s time, please mention whom shall I contact next for getting an early solution.

Hi Rajesh,
I too had bought this model since it was advertised that it had the maps application in it and was disappointed not to find it there.
I have kept phone with nokia care, and they have sent it to the Nokia headquarters in delhi, but still they were unable to get the maps application loaded on it.
Have you found out a way to get the nokia maps application installed on it? If so, please do let me know, I will keep checking this message on this website.
If I find a way, I will surely inform you.

i was purchased nokia 5800 xpressmusic .The model is Nokia 5800d-1 NMS Red IMEI: [protected]. i had puchased 3 months back but i got lot problems this mobile. last month i was contact nokia care chittoor, andrapradesh they will take 25 days to ready my mobile.so i am waiting for 25 days i get back my mobile it will exactly 3 days now i phase same problem now. The problem is when i switch off and on or when i change another sim the mobile it not working touchscreen. I phase lot of problem in emergency times and one one time i get more angry my nokia mobile. please rectify my problem or replace new one. I am not believing NOKIA CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTERS.

Nokia Mobile — Value for money spent on product

Hello,

I am writing this complaint for the handset which I am using currently.

I got the Nokia 5610 for Rs. 12200/- last year and had faced lots of issues during this period using it.
I had to spend additional 1000 till date on the handset for the problems like, Display not working, Display light not working, charging problem, memory card not supporting, slide string problem, headset not working, low battery back just in 6 months period.

And still having the problems continued till date. The service provided for these issues are worst in the service centers. They do not know how to handle this kind of situations and no sense of communicating about the prices for repaing. Now if I want to sell this handset it is worth just Rs. 1000 outside. and in service center they are charging 3500 to repair it. Is it worth to get it repaired by paying so mucha nd then selling it just for 1000.

Is there any value for the money what we spend on the trusted brands? I want to know what needs to be done to get the value of rmy money after using such a scrap handset.

I bought a mobile from THE MOBILE STORE (vakkil new street) on 22/03/2010, model no nokia 6303 (invoice no: TN/1275/00001/17) rate: 6430/-, This Mobil under repair (display problem) with in a month, I had complained several times in nokia customer care and Nokia care (sact communication). I complained to Indian consumer complaint on 20/07/10 and then only they rectified the problem, even after rectification, the mobiles display is not working 14/08/2010 onwards, and then again I complained to the nokia’s customer care they are not responding in proper manner .so I humbly request you to take proper action for this problem.

Nokia — Repetition of complaints after service

I had sent two mails regarding the complaint.I had submitted my phone(Nokia 2323c) about 6 times at your care centre and my problem is not solved.I mailed you the jobsheet no after I submitted my phone.It is not the innefficency of the care centre in repairing my handset but the problem of hardware of the handset that is causing the problemas as the care centre people had sent the phone to factory for resolving the malfunction and the problem wasnt resolved.

Each time I submitted my phone or mailed to your customer care, I have clearly stated what caused the problem and how it is being repeated after each service. It is the group messaging functionality that is causing the problem. The group messaging application is provided by the company and it is not a third party application. Since it is causing the problem, It is denial to the consumers privilages or can be stated as cheating the customer by stating features that doesn't get enough hardware support.The technical team at the care centre told me that it is the lack of phone memmory that is causing the problem. The phone is loaded with features that doesnt have harware support.This particular model's production had stopped , may be beacuse of its bad perfomance, but people like me who had bought the phone is suffering.I have contact of another user of the same phone who has got this same handset whose details will be provided if necessary.

I am fed up with the phone.Just buying this phone had brought me tension and resulted in the loss of my valuable time.I need a replacement of the phone or reimbursement of money.The phone had cost me Rs2250.I have also lost about Rs8 by calling your custommer care for which I have recorded data.It is not the money that I am concerned of, but the lack of loyality to the customers which is crime that should be dealt seriously.Reliability factor about Nokia which I believed in is gone.

I am providing Jobsheet numbers as a proof that I had submitted the phone at your care centre.

Nokia — DEFECTS IN CELL PHONE FROM DAY 1 OF PURCHASE

DEAR MAM/SIR ,
I BOUGHT A NOKIA 6700C CELL PHONE FROM A NOKIA PRIORITY DEALER SHOP IN LAJPAT NAGAR,NEW DELHI.
FIRSTLY THE DAY I BOUGHT THE CELL PHONE I WAS TOLD IT IS OUT OF STOCK AND SO I WAS GIVEN AN OCT 2009 MANUFACTURED PHONE.BEFORE I STARTED USING IT I GOT A SCREEN PROTECTOR PUT ON THE SCREEN.(RECENTLY WHEN I GOT IT CHANGED I DISCOVERED SCRATCHES ON THE SCREEN).
IN THE 1ST WEEK OF PURCHASE WHEN I USED THE BLUE TOOTH APPLICATION FOR THE 1ST TIME THE PHONE GOT HANGED AND STOPPED WORKING.THE STAFF AT THE STORE UPGRADED THE SOFTWARE AND IT WORKED FINE FOR A FEW DAYS.THEN AGAIN I FACED THE SAME PROBLEMTHIS TIME THE CELL WAS GIVEN TO NOKIA REPAIR CENTRE BUT I WAS NOT GIVEN ANY PHOTOCOPY OF THE JOBSHEET.IT WAS KEPT WITH THEM FOR NEARLY 1 WEEK BUT WHEN I GOT IT BACK THE 2ND TIME THE INSIDE OF THE SCREEN WAS FULL OF DUST PARTICLES.THE CELL WAS RETURNED A 3RD TIME AND TO ONLY CLEAN THE SCREEN THIS TIME THE REPAIR CENTRE TOOK A WEEK AGAIN.THEN AGAIN THE CELL WORKED FINE TILL AUGUST.THIS TIME ON ITS OWN THE CELL GOT SWITCHED OFF 2 TIMES WHICH MADE ME MISS MANY IMP BUSINESS CALLS.
THE CELL WAS RETURNED TO THE NOKIA SHOP FOR A 4TH TIME.THE STAFF SENT IT TO THE REPAIR CENTRE AND IT TOOK 5 DAYS FOR REPAIR.AT PRESENT THE CELL IS WORKING FINE BUT I DO NOT KNOW FOR HOW MANY DAYS.
AGAIN I WAS NOT GIVEN ANY RECORD OF THE WORK DONE AND I WAS TOLD BY THE NOKIA SHOP STAFF THAT ALL RECORDS OF COMPLAINTS ARE ONLINE WITH NOKIA AGAINST BILL DETAILS AND IF I SEND AN EMAIL NOW TO NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE THE CELL WILL BE REPLACED AS A BRAND NEW CELL HAS BEEN REPAIRED / UPGRADED 3 TIMES AND ALSO THE SCREEN WAS SCRATCHED THOUGH IT WAS A SEALED BOX PHONE.
THE REPLY I HAVE GOT FROM NOKIA REPAIR CENTRE IS TO LEAVE THE CELL AGAIN WITH THE REPAIR CENTRE FOR AN UPGRADE A 4TH TIME BUT THEY CANNOT COMMENT ON REPLACEMENT.

THE WARRANTY IS FOR 1 YEAR BUT ALREADY FROM DATE OF PURCHASE TILL NOW THE PHONE HAS BEEN WITH NOKIA FOR NEARLY 30 DAYS IN TOTAL.

I purchased a new nokia c5 mobile two weeks ago from the day of purchase phone is automatically switches off and sometimes it turns ON automatically but after that it turn oFF permamtely.so i visited the nearest nokia care center and they sent the mobile to the company after that they servised the mobile and call me to receive even though the same problem persist so i once again give to the customer care center still i didn't receive the mobile but if face the same problem can i ask them to replacemnt of the mobile if they don't what i have to do.

Complain- There is a option called as cost setting and its sub option is fixed dialing. It is not activated in my handset. It shows PIN2CODE rejected. Please sort out my problem ASAP.

this is very shameful that such a big brand is making so complicated mobile, we purchased x6 nokia mobile on 23 .oct. 10 . we are unable to use any ovi feature as it was mentioned boldly that for one year download any music for free. there are no wall papers, screansavers or any basic things in this mobile. i think these mobiles r only made for sofware engg. this was a real waste of time and money. many times we called {my ref. no. is 1/[protected]}.nokia help centre or to the purcase showroom that is tgip noida. there is no one to listen the complaints . within one week we went to replace this mobile but they said it is not possible. the help line staff also don, t know anything what to do.we called them many time which was a real waste of time.
i will suggest everyone not to ever purchase nokia mobile.
