[Resolved] Nokia Mobiles — Problems with xpressMusic 5130C model
I purchased my Nokia 5130 ExpressMusic handset almost a year back. After 7-8 months o[censored]sage it started giving problem of call drop. It use to get switched OFF as soon as I tried to receive any calls. I went to Nokia care in Aundh and they tried to get the software udpated to see if it resolved the issue, but with no effect. They gave 2 attempts without any knowledge of whether their approach would resolve the issue.
Then they sent it their main Nokia repair center, from where I received the handset after almost 20-25 days. And again the issue still existed after I used it for 2-3 days. After this again it was sent to their head office for repair.
In this entire process I almost lost 2-3 days and my warranty got expired. I asked Nokia care and call center to provide me with a replacement since they were unable to resolve the issue. I had to go almost 5-6 times to followup with them and get my mobile repaired.
Nokia neither provided me with a replacement nor any warranty upgrade because of the problems that I was facing.
Now finally, when i have received the handset, call drop problem is not occurring but it has started giving problem of battery draining out in 2-3 hours.
I tried replacing the battery with a new original Nokia battery, but of no use.
I don't really understand why Nokia did not provide me with a replacement though their handset hardware had problem.
I can go on and on over issues that I am facing with this Nokia 5130c model that I am facing, since the pain is endless.
I would recommend, stay away from Nokia since their service is pathetic.
