N76 — Delay in replacement /rectification

Dear Sir ,

This is regarding the N76 (Batch No :- IMEI :- 353954/01/380391/2) set puchased on 7th November 2007 . the basic problem i am facing is , the set is even not able to detect the sim card from the date of purchase .
I had submitted the set in NOKIA Service centre in Noida (atta) on 2nd December 07. the commited date by service centre is already crosssed by week . I am daily chasing them for my cell
but all in vain . All i have that every day they came with a new date .
I am realy frustated by this daily follow up .

Kindly look in to this and help me out in retreving my set .

Nokia n 76 — body replacement

Sir, Igave my n 76 mobile, which is in warranty to nokia care centre sparkle in chandigarh for the replacement of its body, it was given on 6 th of june and i was told it would take about a week, well it been almost 20 days and they are still not sure as to how long it would take, it seems that this series has been discontinued, may i know the exact status of my phone, and if its beyond repair i may be allowed to to take a new one of the same value. IMEI NO [protected] CUSTOMER NAME RAJHANS.

Nokia N76 — pathetic service at nokia customer care centre and replacement of handset

Dear sir,

This is to bring to you notice the pathetic service extended at your Nokia care centre at Andheri West (mumbai).I visited the Nokia customer care centre for replacement of N-76 handset due to chipping of chrome plating.As the warranty on the phone is within one year, the handset and bill was provided to the dealer.The dealer very rudely stated that the replacement warranty existed only for 6 months.As prior inquiries were made at the nokia toll free number w.r.t. duration of warranty, which was confirmed to be 1 year by Vinod from customer service the dealer insisted that the warranty existed for only 6 months.
On requesting the dealer to allow me to make a call to customer service from his centre, he very curtl y refused and stated that the call centre provides wrong information to the customers. On asking for a written communication from Nokia for duration of replacement warranty the dealer (Mr Ilyas) stated that he does not have it and will not make any effort to provide the same.
In addition I was directed to the lower parel office of Nokia without any resolution.
I have been a Nokia user since the past 10 year and after this experience I have been forced to change loyalties.
Request you to look into the matter and an early resolution to this issue.

I WAS PLANING TO BUY A NOKIA FOR MY WIFE. MY CONFIDENCE WAS QUITE SHAKEN WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS COMPLAINT AGAINST A CERTIFIED NOKIA DEALER AND THAT TOO AT ANDHERI WEST, MUMBAI. NOW, IF I DO GO IN FOR A NOKIA PHONE, I WILL MAKE SURE I READ BETWEEN THE LINES BEFORE BUYING ONE. I WISH THE DEALER'S DETAILS WERE MENTIONED IN FULL, SO I COULD PREVENT A SITUATION BY NOT GOING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Nokia/N76 — No Response from NOKIA CARE CENTRE

Dear Concerned,

Please be informed that I had given my phone for servicing 1 month back at Nokia Care Centre, green Park, New Delhi.

After that I am continuously following up for the status of my phone but I am not getting proper response as every time i am being told that it will take some more time.

My Phone was submitted on 16/10/2008, my jobsheet number is [protected].

Request you to please help me in getting back my phone as it’s really hard for us to get responce from these representative / engineers sitting in Nokia Care Centre.

Looking forward for a early response.
