[Resolved] NSDL — NSDL PAN Card Not alloted | |
Hi, I have applied for PAN through the tin-nsdl website (https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.html) on 04-Jan-2008. My acknowledgment number is '[protected]' and paid thru Indian Overseas Bank Cheque No. 881369 Dated[protected], I have deposited it Nungambakkam Branch at Chennai. I have mailed the necessary documents (i.e. Voter's ID Copy as my Proof of ID and Proof of address) proofs to the Income tax Pan services unit, Mumbai. Since we are not supposed to enter the initials in the application form in Last Name / surname column, I had to expand and enter them. But I do not have any proofs that bear my full name, with my initials expanded. On mailing the document, the Income Tax services unit mailed me back telling that they need a proof bearing my full name with the initials expanded. As i did not have any such proof, i in turn asked them about what can be done. But till now I have not received any reply from them. Kindly help. Regards, Kamaleshwaran. sir my pan card is loss in last 2 yers sir i Apllied my pan card of old number then pan card service department. to last 6 months. the pan service unit recived my letter and one quireis of my GRAND FATHER NAME of MANGALGE AND INSTENT BY MANGAJI
as per APPLICATION MANGALGE THAKER IS( right)

(1) certificate of municipal counceler of my GRAND FATHER NAME IS MANGALGE
(2) AFFIDAVIT of 20 rs. stemp of righit name

sir pls help me and advice me what can i do for recived my pan card

I have requested for the address change for my PAN thru NSDL some 2.5 years back. Till this moment the nsdl is asking me to send the appropriate documents which i have sent to them n times with a same reply from their side. They say that I should provide them with the single document which shall have
1. My Name (Sandeep) 2. My Fathers Name (Vyankatrao) 3. My Grandfathers Name (Latuji) and 4. Surname (Munishwar) and in that order only, i.e Sandeep Vyankatrao Latuji Munishwar which I beleive is stupid thing to ask as none of the person would have any document this way.
Ideally, the documents contains My Name, My Fathers Name and my Surname. I provided them with the documentry proof (Driving license) where my name is spelt as above and also supply them with the copy of my fathers DL which has his name, his fathers name and surname provided. But those dumb guys at NSDL are not satisfied with this and asking for document where my full name is stated as "Sandeep Vyankatrao Latuji Munishwar". This is ridiculous and I cannot provide such single document.
I followed with NSDL n time thru mail and thru their call centre but of no help. They also do not provide with the contact details of their superior officers (whom i suppose to have some mind) to resolve but no response.
Simillarly, I wrote to [protected]@incometaxindia.com 4 times and spoke to them a couple of times but still not response from them.
Can you tell me what I can do about it now. or just give up.

i work in a high magnetic field lab, where mobile does not work, i remain at my lab from 9am to 10 pm at night. This normal rutine for a research fellow persuing PhD.
The address mentioned is for the my scientist apartment, where we go only to sleep at night.
please therefore mail me about the status, and if possible send the card at my office address. As the postman would find no one at the scientist apartment premis where only bachelore research scholar live, and they can only be found at their respective lab.
