[Resolved] Overnite Express Limited — Fraudulent courier company | |||
My friend had couriered an item on 10th November,2010 from the Vile Parle(West) branch of the courier service Overnite Express Limited. After a couple of days I thought of calling up the Mumbai office in order to inquire about the status. Initially they said it would reach me soon but after repeated calls, to my shock, the person on the call said they had lost track of the courier and probably it had been stolen. I asked for the contact number of his higher authority in order to get to the depth of the matter. He gave me the number of someone called 'Bala'. Expecting support at the other end, I was literally pulled out of my slumber when this guy Bala shamelessly uttered 'We transport lakhs of items everyday, if one of them is lost somewhere we can't to much about it. At max we can give you the refund for the item'. With such arrogant and casual words flowing, its anybody's guess whether the parcel has actually been lost or has been intentionally messed up by the company for petite gains. If not anything else, this person's lack of empathy and overly rude behavior would only fuel more and more suspicions. Sub: Non Delevery of our parcel to the destination
Dear Sir,
I would like to draw your kind attention that I have sent a parcel th.Your good courier service center Farrukhabad, Lal gate, Gatia Ghat road, Farrukhabad having Docket No.[protected] Dt. 30/10/2010. but it has not been reached it at its destination address or not informed to me about that parcel.
Mean while I have contacted various attempt to your office, your Kanpur office even your Mumbai office also but I have never find satisfactory reply and I feel that no one is interested to find its location. The parcel having content a "HANDY MOVIE CAMERA" (Camcorder) costing about Rs.8000.00, my self is a service class person and have mean of above amount.
You are requested pl. to find it and if your unable to sent it at their destination pl. return it to me at my following address,

Sir, I am very much puzelled and feeling disturb since last 5 days during followup of my parcel, If I have not provided my parcel retun back or it has not been reached to its destination within 3-4 days then I shall be bound to go in Consumer Forum for recovery of my content value, value for peace of my family and other expenses during the filling / fitting of case.

Overnite Express — LOST THE PERCEL.
I have send the courier from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir on 16th September '09 through Overnite Express Courier with POD number 88576139. Till Date it has not reached its destination, Its been 15 days and no one in the company can track the same, I have made in numerous calls and send many mails to the company but they are bothered to reply.I had been also submitted complaint letter and my courier details thier office. No one at customer care also are able to reply or give me satisfactory answer.Upen Borah
