[Resolved]  Parcel — Demand of Bribe

Regarding : AWB number RA[protected]CN

We are a group of Colleges imparting education and most of the times our equipment are ordered from outside India in case of non availability.
Recently we ordered an article of $40 and before it could be delivered the postman showed up and asked for Rs 2000/- . We asked for the details, receipt and explanation for such a big amount for an article which itself
costs around Rs 2000 INR including shipping, then he took the parcel and absconded refusing to reveal his name even. Now the local post office is telling us stories which do not hold any valid point.
We are charitable/Non profit society. Due to Non Profit nature of the society we privileged u/s 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act and are exempted from taxes.

Therefore, it is a humble request to kindly look into the matter as the equipment are meant for educational purpose and not for any commercial activity.

If we need to file an FIR in the police for bribery or theft then kindly inform us about the responsible person to ease the necessary action. Now the biggest proof of their illicit intentions is that the tracking status is showing "Item Undelivered due to Insufficient address". I need to call anti corruption bureau and media regarding this.
