Passport Authority — passport not received

passport authority — Formalities completed passport not yet received

I am a resident of Jabalpur(M.P.) had applied for passport via postal application on 22/4/2008 all the verificaton work was completed by july and i have not yet received the passport. I would also like to mention that in case of the postal applications no reference no. etc was issued all i have is a copy of the demand draft what shud i do??

I have fulfilled all the requirements recently again on 18th Feb 2009. And I was promised that my passport will be dispatched at my address with in 15 days.

But that has not been done. Please I want to raise this as a issue & to be taken to the concerned Department head of the Passport Authority.

during shiffting my house i had misspalaced my passport.now i can't remeber even my passport no.i suppose to renue that passport now help me what to do.how can i get tat passport or i have to apply for new passport.

I had applied for re-issue of my passport no. A 5532863 ON 04/04/2008 with my father"s passport Tilak raj sachdeva. I have received my father"s passport but till date i have not received my passport.Police verifications have been done but i didnt get my passport.My file no. is DELW56003008.Therefore you are kindly requested to please issue my passport.

passport authority — wrong address on the passport

this complain is regarding passport no H6126860 which was issued on 03/08/2009 . The passport was delivered with a wrong address on it. We have visited the passport authority at Bhikaja cama palace and applied for address change /correction . In return we have recieved the passport through speed post but again with no changes .So what can u suggest us for the next course of action.
looking forward for a reply as soon as possible .

passport authority — Police Verification Pending from 2 Months

I have applied for the passport on 8th July, 2010 but as of now I cannot able to check the exact status Ref No-A039968. After applied, the same was showing as a “APPLICATION PENDING FOR WANT OF POLICE REPORT” after 2 months. I have tried to confirm the same from my local police station but they was told me, ther is nothing pending imfact he was not recd the verification yet.

passport authority — Renewal of passport (9 months and more)

Dear Consumer Forum,

I have applied for renewal of passport on 20th Feb 2010. I am yet to receive my new passport. I could not enquire through phone as no one receives the call for hours. I went to bangalore office in person. I was told that police verification is not complete. I requested re-verification. After 3 months i have seen online status as passport issued and is in queue for number. Same message for 2 more months. I went to office again. they told me my place of birth is incorrect (they have entered my place of birth correct, but not my state). They said that they would correct it and send me the passport. Now my online status shows again Polic verification is incomplete. Passport office work gets into an infinite loop again with new file number and inspite of having software (i dont how good is that) by a well-known company.

Police verification done on 04.03.2011. Three months already over. Sabari waited for Ramchandra till 14 years. Can you tell me how long will we wait.

I am living in Kolkata post marriage. I have applied for passport in the month of May 2010 along with all documents being attested by myself as required. Thereafter police verification was done accordingly however no verification was done at my home town Siliguri, West Bengal. On receiving a letter to submit personal particulars form once again in this year I had duly submitted the same in two copies. A police verification was done at Kolkata once again however no verification was done at Siliguri this time too. I received another communication from passport authority to submit personal particulars form with address of my birthplace, which is Siliguri and I once again had submitted the same with all required details and was told from inquiry that the verificaiton would take place in a week's time in Siliguri. Till then I had not heard from anyone regarding the same and had neither received my passport.I cannot find any detail at the website for passport status now.

This is my urge to you to look into the same since I was given wrong information twice from the inquiry counter. Once I was told the passport is ready and was given a passport number too and when I have not received my passport I had visited the passport office and was told that the verification was not completed. Even after providing my details for verification purpose for thrice I have not yet received my passport after a year of wait.

In the hope of receiving passport I seek your help or atleast I wanted to know the reason why I have not been provided a passport and instead was given misleading information.
