i have applied for passport on 15/5/09 . File number is HYD-A[protected] and police enquiry was also done after 20 days as i applied.But status on website still shows "police report not yet received". I am presently studying in chennai.I request you to finalise things quicklydespatch my passport as a matter o[censored]rgency.

PASSPORT Delay in PROCESS — Passport Not Received

Dear Sir,

I have submitted the Application for Passport THNI08047609, on 12th May 2009 at Thane Passport Office, in Person.
It has been more than 2 months and I have not yet recieved the Passport.
There have been Police Enquiry and visit to the Police Station for Verification, more than month back, but till date - I see status as "POLICE Report has not been received ".

I would like to understand from the Authorities, that after taking all the Original documents and meeting in person at the Polce Station, how long the processing takes place and when do the Applicants receives the Passport.

Passport Delay — Not Received the Passport

This is V.Lakshmi Prasath from Pollachi and my passport no: CBE-A[protected], passport date on[protected] but am not yet my passport, and when i check my status means, it always comes as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" so please send my passport as well as soon. its my kindly request you to send my passport.

I have applied for the passport when I was in Hyderabad last year in October 2008. My file no is W120209. After I have applied for the passport I have got an opportunity in Accenture, Bangalore. Hence I have mentoned Accenture, Bangalore address in my application. Since I do not have a permanent address in Bangalore, I requested for the inquiry to be done to my office address. Till now I have not received any inquiry. I have also left the company 5 months back and joined in some other company in Bangalore.

My application status in the web site is showing for the last 6 months as " The Application Has been transferred to the concerned Passport Office".

Now I am not working in Accenture. What Can I do. I am totally blank on what exactly has happened to my passport. As per the present company requirement, I have to urgently travel US.

This is my life and death complaint. Kindlly help me on this. Please...

I am Shantanoo Rathore. My file No.is BOM/B007274 Dated 27/02/2009. I have completed all the requisite formalities and not getting my passport till date. I telephoned Mumbai office of the Passport but no response. What to do now. I am feeling helpless and do not know what to do as my repeated visits to RPO Mumbai have been futile.

Passport Services — 4 months delay in issuance of passport

Dear All,

I had applied for my wife passport on 28th May 09, as i got married in Nov 2008 my wife was 7 months old to the place where i live, I got a letter from Thane Passport Office to meet the the Passport officer and i met him on 25th July 09 and submitted additional documents to support my wife claim too own a passport...after regular followup about passport status on website of government it was shown that the passport will be delivered to us in a week time but it did not happen and suddenly on 1st October when i go for enquiry at Thane Passport office i am informed that my wife file for application is closed due to negligence from our side that we did not meet them or enquire about our status.

Now i am being subjected to run from one police station to other spend lot of money on conveyance and other activities which are just illegal and still there is not update about whether my wife will get the passport or not.

such inefficiency by a department which has to deal in a responsible manner is shocking.

hope something is done and i get the passport for my wife.

two times enquiry is done at hyderabad, and two time we have submitted ppf form, i am away from family for want of passport, please update status with required, we have vised n number of time to passport office in hyderabad.

I applied for the passport at[protected] at GZB passport Office and my File reference number is (A[protected].As per the Status my passport should be dispatched by[protected]. But till today i.e.[protected] I haven't received my passport. May I know where i can contact regarding the status of my passport. I have just sent a mail to their grievance department. Hope to get a reply with favorable suggestion very soon.

i am sunil kumar matangi .and i applied for pass port on 17/04/2009, with reference no:w605373.
first i applied through college, but they did not agree college address. so i applied through my present residence address. the police verification officer has came and verified,and told to me u will get your pass port in 30 days. but still i did not receive my pass port. after that i go to the pass port office and ask the
enqiry ,they tell to me your adderss is incorrect so apply once again we will send police .
please sir issue my pass port. so please take any action .

i have applied passport for my son, it has been 80 days... til now i have not recieved passport. Why this process is taking this much of days?
