[Resolved]  Passport — passport delay

Respected Sir,
I have applied for the passport dated 1/07/08 and all the formalities, verifications and documentation has been duly done but unfortunately due to some reasons I have not yet received the passport, its a kind request to please look after the issue and release my passport as soon as possible, I will be highly oblige.

on 24/06/08 i had been applied for a passport in lucknow passport office.iam staying in mumbai.my police verification in my native is being completed, every verification has been completed. status on net is showing that your Passport has been despatched by post on[protected] vide postal Registration Number O759980.sir still i am not yet received my passport..sir for getting the passport what i have to do next??please help me sir...sir please do any thing as early as possible...This is my File Reference Number : LKO-A[protected].

I have applied for passport in chennai in the first week of august 2008.it has been almost 5months now since i have applied, but i did not get it.every one who have applied before and after me have got the passport.i could not understand the reason for delay.actually the police verification was over in the september itself.from last 2months the status in the website was marked as dealing section marked movement on your file...what does this mean...
can any one look in to and solve my passport problem...please...the file no. is w140247

Hi,
You have to write a letter and meet hte passport officer. They will clear it immediatetly. For this go with a letter and receipt of file#, other original documents. Stand in the line for appoinment.

You will be given a appointment to meent passport officer same day. And if he is okay with the furnished info and if ht PVR was cleared, they will issue/despatch the pasport same day.

DEAR SIR,
I have applied for passport dated on 07th Nov.2008. My file no is A 132121. My police verification is also done, but till I have not got my passport. On inter-net the status is showing that police verification is not done. So please help me out. Its very urgent. I am in aviation industry so, without passport I am not supposed to apply in any airlines. I have already miss my international opportunities.

THEREFORE I AM REQUESTING YOU TO PLEASE HELP ME TO ISSUE MY PASSPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

i applied to passport 2 months back.but i have no reply.why plz reply me.

I am a senior citizen. I lost my husband a year ago and as I have no children, I relocated in Bangalore from Palani, in Tamilnadu in September 2008. I am now a resident of karnataka and have even my voter Id. I have always been wanting to travel to Malayasia and other neighbouring countries but due to myhusband's health was never able to. I have now got a chance and hence applied for my passport. I submitted my papers on the 24th of March and as I had noone to guide I did not use your tathkal facility. My neices have planned a vacation in Malayasia and Indonesia and are leaving on the 4th of May.My police verification is over and even my address has been counter checked. I have been to the passport office twice but on both occassions I have not had any positive reply. I went this morning too and I was told it will take two to three weeks. It is more than a month since my papers were filed, I can't understand why the delay. I will not get another opportunity to travel if I miss this time. I can still manage to traval with my neices if my passport is issued to me by Wednesday morning. Considering my age and my situation I would like you to take a positive decession.

on their website the passport application is received on 29/4/2009 in tatkal formate in site it say with in 7 working day till now i dont hav any status its 1 month now
