[Resolved]  Passport Office Chandigarh — Passport status not appearing

I have applied for passport on 25/10/2006 and not recieved it yet.when I checked out my status on 'www.passport.chd.nic.in' it is showing some error.my file no. is Z513544.hoping for early and positive response

I had applied for passport dated (04/11/2009) back got
PASSPORT FILE ID :- CHD Z69208909
Receip[t no. 24963 deptt. receipt no. 8378
distirct level edisha center Panchkula ( haryana)
But while checking the status for the same on www.passport.chd.nic.in its showing some error as
"Eiter File Id is wrong

Plz Verify the Problem

I had applied for passport on 05.01.2010. My file no. is CHD-F[protected]. My DOB is 02.12.1977. My police verification has been done around 4 weeks ago. But on enquiry/status, it is found that police report has not been received. Kindly help me to get my passport.

with due respect, I have applied a fresh Passport vide file No.F-003372 dt.14.4.07 with your office.In this regard I have not received the Police verification or passport yet.
I have even submitted the PP form in this regard.

i applied my passport in 15.01.2010.the file no is Z060619.WHEN I CHECKED THE STATUS
THE STATUS CAME "there is no information available or the file no is wrong"

Do you think any body is listening to theser complaints...


Is there any single person who got a reply after posting complaint here ...

we have applied renewal of passport from chandigarh about 2 months ago file no. CHD F008800 but the when we check there is an error showing that too busy

Dear Sir,

I am indian citizen residing in dubai. I have send a mail as well as fax to the passport office Chandigarh to update my wife's passport in pison so that i can get the police clearnce from indian consulate, dubai. Even Indian consulate, Dubai is also faxing and emailing them continusly but still there is no response from Chd passport office. When I send my brother to such office for the updation they are saying that we have not recd any fax or mail yet and tell indian consulate to refax or mail so that they can update the passport. I again requested the consulate to refax or mail them. But still the same position.

You are kindly requested to please help me out cause i have applied for the Canadian PR and i have to submit the Police Clearance with in 10-15 days otherwise my case will be rejected.

I applied for renewal of passport on February 25th 2010 and the status was showing "Police report received, will be despatched within few days" and later it was showing "Could not be despatched due to unforeseen circumstances".

I personally visited the passport office on July 02, 2010 and my file was checked by the Passport officer and found all "OK". He told me that I will receive passport shortly. But to my dismay the status report on internet is missing now. (Nothing shown in the status column).

I missed two important international business visits due to lack of passport renewal. Please help me and send my renewed passport soon.

but because of some objections i did not get my passport..

and nowt when i check online for status check there appears on screen that "there is no information available or the file no. is wrong"
