Passport Office, Chennai — worst performance by chennai passport office

i am varadharaj. i have studied engineering in perundurai but, my native place is in salem. so i have to get two police verification forms. i had applied for passport on dec/2006.

on april, i saw my passport status in april 2007. so, i went to chennai and wait in the enquiry queue from 6am. the enquiry time is on 9.30 to 12.30 am. but, the enquiry officers came on 10.15am. but they closed enquiry by 12.30 sharply.in that enquiry, they said that the PP form is not inclued with your application so, i have given another PP from. after 2 months i got the police verification in perundurai.

after one month, they had another objection that your photos are not clear.so i went another time and gave 3 photo copies in enquiry section. after two months another objection that you have to provide you proof of birth.

but, i haven't any birth certificate. i had my sslc school transfer certificate. i always put it for my birth proof previously. i gor attested for that proof and gave it to the office. but, they didn't accept that, and give the birth certificate only.

for getting birth certificate, i have waited for 14 days and the municpality of salem didn't respond to my application . that is seperate story. finally i moved with known officer and i got the birth certificate.

after that, i have the semester examinations and iam not allowed to get leave from college. so i have waited for right time to go to chennai.


on march month, suddenly i received my passport without submitting my proof of birth certifcate. then why, they asked to give the birth proof? is it for joking?

i very much ashame of our government systems. by seeing this, i have rememberd one dialogue in indian movie by kamalhaasan,

the foriegners get the bribe for tolerating outside the duty,

but indian officers get the bribe for doing the duty.

if it is continuing many indian engineers will go to foriegn permenently. i saw as my problem in many of my friends. thay are scolding about the government. the government has to take any action on this.
