[Resolved]  Passport Office - Ghaziabad — Delay in passport issuing!

Hi, I am Yogesh Tanwar S/O Sh. Ram Avtar Tanwar R/O Lig-7A, Kadamb Vihar, Raunchi Bangar, Mathura, U.P.. I had applied for passport in january. My all verifications from here has been sent to you, but my status is showing nothing. I want to know when i will get my passport.Because I am an engineering student. I need it...

We have applied for the passport of our Son ‘Satvik Shrey Gutpta’ on 16.03.2007 vide File No. C 001825 in Tatkaal Scheme. But inspite of our so many reminders on Internet and Personally to your office, we are not in a position to get the passport.

This year we have planned to go abroad and for that purpose we need the passport urgently.

On our visit last week, you have asked us to fill the Application Form again.

We have submitted new Application Form on 23.05.2008.

Kindly issue us the passport immediately.

I alongwith my mother and brother had applied for the passport on 12.06.2008 vide file number GZBA022805 to GZBA022807 at the Ghaziabad passport office but till today the status of these three applicaions on internet shows that the police report has not been received whereas the status of applictions submitted on 13.06.2008 shows that their passport shall be delivered by such and such dates. I may please be intimated the maximum time to reach the police report from the concerned police station to the concerned passport office and if the police report is not being sent in the prescribed time what action is sought to taken by the concerned authorities.

I had applied on 9Jun08. Initial date of delivery was 4th August. But since then status "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week’s time" is displayed without mentioning a particular date and specific reason for delaying. It seems no further processing is being done.
