PASSPORT OFFICE — Delay in Minor (Newborn) Passport

Dear Sir,

I have applied for passport for my daughter (Khathija Shaikh) on 07 February 2011 with reference number M000126.
When I check the online status still shows "Passport is expected to be despatched by[protected] Subject to all documents being in order."
In the meanwhile police verifivation has been done twice.(for New Born Baby).
And when I inquired at counter number 22 at Old Building on 06, 15, 21 and 30 March 2011, they informed me the Passport has been Dispatched already.

Tele-inquiry is not answering the calls. Can you please advice the exact date when will I receive the PASSPORT.

got to some browsing center near by enter your log in and click booking ... it really works...try this and tell me the feed back [protected]@yahoo.com

go to browsing center and do the same you will find appointments.. same happned to me i got frustated and went to browsing center and applied and i got the takkal appointment...

Hell Passport Authority, Hyderabad - Everyone must read — Complaint against Passport Authority -Every one must read

I have applied Passport for my son, on 18-Feb-2011.

The passport has not been dispatched yet. No intimation sent to my correspondence saying why they are unable to deliver the Passport .

When I checked the status of my son's passport online, 2 months ago it showed 'We are unable to deliver the passport due to some reasons, we will deliver it in one or 2 weeks'.

From past one month even the above information is not displaying.

I have sent many emails, Fax to RPO, Hyderabad, they did not reply to any of my emails.

It's exact 6 months, since I applied.

In India the Govt Organizations services are always worst! unlike other countries. If we talk about the PASSPORT Authority, Hyderabad (I don't know about the other states, but I can imagine the same with the other states too) that is a , please read email (I had applied for passport for my son 6 months ago, since then not delivered and information sent).

And their web site: Ha ha ha ha ha, being an central Govt organisation, they are maintaining hell web service.

1. I tried to enquire the status online for the applied Passport, it was displayed like 'We are unable to despatched the passport due to some reasons, we will deliver it in one or 2 weeks'.

Please observe the word 'despatch' , how they spelt (Can any one show me that word in the dictionary?)

2. They gave a link 'GRIEVANCE:' on the enquiry page, When you try to send email, using any email service provider, that bounces back (failure delivery). Ha ha ha ha ha

3. They gave RPO's email to contact on 'Contact Us' page, I sent 6 emails in last 3 months, they never replied back, finding a solution to my query.

4. They have Fax, that never work, I tried hell lot of times, I heard ENGAGE tone 24 Hrs. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

5. As it is months since applied for the passport, they haven't delivered. So, my wife contacted one person in the Passport office, through her friend. Just, we contacted him to know whats happening, he is demanding Rs. 10,000 to deliver the passport. See that fellow how dare to ask the money to deliver my passport?

If I continue...telling about this Passport Authority, this website's server space will not be enough...ha ha ha.

Please all of you who are facing issues with this , let us form a union to take necessary action, and put full stop to their poor services.

dear evn m facing the same problem..i've lost mah 2 jobs..dunno wot they think of themselves. and these rti n oll evryhtn are fake. no one is going 2 see to it bro..!! its ur luck i[censored] get your passport delivered at time..!!

Bro... Even I am facing the same situation...
It has been 5 months since i have applied for my son's passport...
Not only you and me there are thousands of people who are facing the situation...
When I talked to some of the brokers about getting the passport sooner, they are asking for hefty amounts. and when I asked why you take so much money to do that... the answer is... the staff are demanding so we just pass it to them...
Somebody was saying that the passport office staff are deliberately delaying the passports so that if some one needs urgently they can loot them by demanding heavy amounts...

And to just know the status of the passport, we need to stand in the line from 6 AM in the morning... then we will get a chance to know the status of our passport around 12 O clock...
these people don't care how elders, ladies are suffering standing in the line from early morning...


After standing in the line for two days and submitting an urgency letter from company's HR now the passport status is
"Passport has been granted and is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order."

Lets see how it goes... no wonder, after[protected] the status may change to the regular... Due to unavoidable... blah blah blah...

I have the same problem, y government is cheating public with all bogus sites???

passport — Tatkal Appointment Slots

Paasport Appontment slot timings are no where mentioned in passport website. How will a person know when the slot opens.

If they want to hide timings then what is the use of making it online.
