[Resolved] Passport Office Lucknow — Non issue of passport! | |
Re: Passport Office Lucknow I had applied for a passport in april 2004, at your office in Lucknow, and was registered under file no. A-046026, dated 29.04.2004. A police inquiry and the L.I.U. inquiry was conducted, later on inquiry after seven - eight months, I was told that the inquiry said that I was not available, (which was untrue). However, I re applied in 2005 and still nothing happened. In May 2006, I visited the passport office, and submitted once again all the required documents, and in August 2006, both the inquiries were redone, and my file reached your office on 08.09.2006. Since, then I have made many attempts but no one from your office informs further. It is necessary to inform you that I have missed one opportunity for advanced studies to Scotland, in 2005, now I have graduated here only, and am receiving job offers from abroad. Hence, I shall be grateful if you would kindly inform me of the status of my passport, and whether you will be in a position to issue the same or not? Your early response will be appreciated. The Lucknow passport office is a complete hell, the worst govt. deptt. They dont know how really to work..I have applied for it 18months back but yet not received..Even after several reminders they are still sleeping..
My passport file number of Bareilly is - A005305..
After this file was transferrd to Lucknow no steps have been taken even after 18 months ..I believe I wud receive my passport after my death..Even after several reminders they are still sleeping..I need my passport immediately, Each time I visit their office 1 or the other document is missing..Please I beg can some1 help me..

I have completed all the inquiries required at that time myself but after some time i got to know that the passport office has rejected my application as inquiry from SSP office, Allahabad has passed "Gaurav" as my name while my name on application form is "GAURAV GARG". I don't know how kiddish that is.
As I completed my B-tech from NIT ALLAHABAD. I left allahabad so it was quite difficult for me to again go there and complete all enquiries
Leaving that apart I again any how able to verify the enquiry from Shivkuti Thana Allahabad
Then any how from LIU office ..now from last 1.5-2 months the passport office Lucknow guy says we haven't received your report from SSP office Allahabad..
It remained stuck at SSP OFFICE ALLAHABAD
Please help me in this as I am desperately need it rightnow as I am working in a software company and need it as soon as possible
