[Resolved] Passport Office, Patna — PASSPORT | |
Sir/ Madam, I have applied for Indian passport vide application no.258689 dated 12/06/2009 through BHAGALPUR Post Office. I had submitted my fees of Rs. 1000/- vide DD No. 462267 dated 12/06/2009 issued by ICICI bank. I had enclosed all required enclosures.My application was forwarded by Bhagalpur Post Office on 12/06/2009 to Patna. I had requested vide e-mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.for providing the reference File no. as well as current status of my application vide e-mail on 03rd Oct. 2009. The mail was read but not responded. Telophones at mentioned address is not being attended by anybody. Reminder of e-mail went unreplied again. I am working in PSU and apart from my permanent address at Bihar , I am presently employed and residing at Jamshedpur. I were not sure about sending my application to Patna or Ranchi ? As more than 5 months passed and I preferred Post Office to Pvt. Agents and Now I have no other option but to make query over e-mail or Telephone, kindly arrange for an intimation of current status, reference no. and earliest issue of Passport. I have also lodged one complaint at Govt of India Consumer Grievances redressal site http://india.gov.in/outerwin.php?id=http://pgportal.gov.in/ with Registration No. MEAPD/E/2009/01480 which was forwarded to Patna, RPO on 27/10/2009 but nothing happened. I have also lodged one reminder at this site on 20.11.2009. Can anyone help me please? Was this information helpful? | |

sir I am holding account/file no-A103196 dt 21 AUG 2008 for
issue a passport but unfortunately till dt i could'nt get my passport.At the
time of police verification i was in engg college at Hydrabad for study then
after came to my home at khagaul patna 1enquier the matter for my passport
the passport authority have been suggested me for diposit of money of Rs 500
balance fee, i deposited it immediately vide cash receipt no-0062657 dt 23
oct 2009.But the passport have not been issue in my favour.
Further i am going to abroad for hi er study so i requested
to u pleas help me & issue my passport immediately
