[Resolved]  Passport Status Enquiry — No passport received

Respected sir,
We have applied our Passport on 15 Janurary 2009.After all verification (police inquiery, documents checking) Rudrapur Udham singh Nagar had sent the application form to Dehradun Passport office on 28 Feb 2009. My file number is Z-800002/09 .Please help ASAP.

I have applied for passport through postoffice and police verification is over.
But i can not check my passport status because of not having File ref. No. Can you plase tell me how to get the file reference no. I have only postal receipts.

I applied for my passport in Begumpet Post Office, on the 29th December, 2008. My File No. HYDW 60852408, Key No. [protected], still the online status says that police enquiry is not received. Then I went to Regional Passport Office, at Secunerabad. I asked in the enquiry counter about the status then he told me that you have to fill the form of (PPF) Personal Particulars, Then I filled the (PPF) Form and I given back to the enquiry counter. He said, it will take another 15 days.

Sir, Therefore i request you to please do the needful, and see that my passport has delivered at the earliest to my residential address. Because i have to write the IELTS Exam.

I have applied for my passport in March 2008, kolkata. The police enquiry has been cleared dated 14th november 2008, but till now i have not received my passport. i have tried to enquire about the present status of my passport, but unfortunately no information is available online. I need to apply for my IELTS in May. As all the academic sessions in Australia ends in july, So i am not left with much time in hand, this delay may spoil my education/ career.

Grievance : I went to the Gadge Nagar Police Station, Amravati a couple of time. I met to Mr. Telmore, and i was told that the cops went to my place for the enquiry. They told my people to sent me at the station but i could'nt attend them on the given date by them. I am working at Vasava Engineering Construction, Nagpur at times i have to be out of state. When i went according to my convinience i didnt got a proper responce. I had been told by the officer that my case is forwarded to Nagpur police. But i didnt even got a call of enquiry since then. I kindly request you to give an ear towards my say. Hoping of the positive response.

I am residing at Surat. I had applied for my one daughter and son passport [both minor]. I have received both the passport, out of which my daughter's passport is completed in all aspects without any mistake. But in my son's passport there is mistake in address field. I had complained regarding the same at surat's centre for which they had advised me to show them the zerox copy of application form. In application form i have mentioned pin code as 395003 whereas pin code printed in passport is 396003. Secondly, by my mistake i have not added letter "A" in 2 words of address in application form.
Now i have been informed that this mistake will not be rectified and i will need to again apply for new passport. They refused to accept my alteration application and passport for rectification.
My complain is that pin code mistake is from passport office end and address field mistake is from my end. As per the advised given to me, is it fair to again apply for new passport by wasting Rs 1000/= plus time. OR is there any other procedure by submitting some documents by rectifying the passport???
