[Resolved]  Periyar University — No Re-valuation

Yes, I am strongly agree with the above comments regarding the periyar university M.Phil results. People who evaluated the paper are really blinds. They are playing with students life. I don't think this is the only mistake of evaluator, it is a mistake of top management also. Because of their mistake they didn't allow for revaluation.

This kind of results and comments will create the negative name about the university.

The Top management of the Periyar University has to take necessary steps to avoid the negatives in future.

I had done my M.Phil exams (2007 admission) very well. I did not expect that i will get a negative result. I believe that the papers has been valuated by blind people. This will create a mere non-sense and bad image for Periyar University. Atleast by reading this, Periyar University has to take necessary steps to avoid this kind of non-sense. The most irritable thing is that re-valuation is not allowed for PG courses. I do not know what their actual plan in avoiding re-valuation???

Yes I agree,The results published on M.phil recently was very bad,I also applied for M.Phil degree and waiting for the good results,because I did all the exams well,but the marks put for me gave me a sudden shock,the bad thing than the result is no revaluation,.but we need revaluation option,It would be nice if Periyar University will bring revaluation option for M.Phil degree if this happen many students like me will be benefit and save our time instead of wating another one year for the M.Phil completion.Can any of you guys will take a necessary steps for this.I am always glad and be with supportive on you guys.

Yes I agree, all the things happened is like cheating, they are playing with our life. I really felt bad, b caz i m a gold medalist in UG and silver medalist in M Sc. Private college staffs evaluated our paper, they are afraid of competition of Mphil count, because of this reason, they blindly put fail marks (i expected 95% marks). It was a wrong decision by the management to allow these private college staffs for paper valuation. It will create a doubt that management is also involved in these nice game. Government or we people should take necessary action against management of periyar university.

Yes I also strongly agree, all the things happened is only cheating, they are playing with our life. I can't able to believe my M.Phil., result[protected]published by Periyar University. I expected more than 85% but I got negative result. I think only collecting fees is their motive.No other good thing is happening there.By mistake this university had put only blinds for evaluation. No bad words to tell about this cheating.If their evaluation is correct/good, why there is no revaluation?. So many "whys?" are there in students mind.

With due respect i would like to state that i have pursued M.Phil in Comp.Sc. from the centre Darwin School of Business under Periyar University' 07,but to my utmost shock,i have fallen into the failure category.I don't know sir,what actually happened. I have always excelled in all my exams.Its my prayer to all the authorities concerned that kindly revaluate my answer scripts under special consideration.I am fully confident of clearing the same.If you kindly consider my case i'll will be ever grateful to you.

We are very happy that PRIDE has announced the examination results with in time which were held in the month of December-2007.But at the same time we felt very sorry after seeing the examination results.

I would like to bring to your kind notice that there are many failures, even though some of the students are upto the mark in subject and in writing the examinations in perfect.They are teaching the same subject since long time and also I donot have any hesitation to say that they cannot fail in writing the examinations in perfect at any cost. At the same I am not commenting that the mistake is from your side only. But there are unexpected results in many cases.

Kindly treat this as a general representation and I request you to kindly look in to this matter and do the needful and justice. Try to look in to this matter and find the mistake where it was done/happened.

But, I should also say that I am not in a position to give you suggestion, but I can request you to kindly provide the opportunity to the students to go for retotalling and revaluation so that atleast some of the students will be benifitted.

This attitude is now a days seen in many of the universities.
One is because they have sizeably increased the Examination fees and next M.Phil. is no more available im correspondence.

The best thing is to file a complaint under the newly enacted "RTI"
Right to Information Act.
Under this the University is bound to show you your answer sheets and the marks given for each answer. You can check if your answers are right and if so have they given the marks designated for those questions.

There was a similar problem with the marking o[censored]PSC EXAMS. Recently, Students filed complaint under this act and got reliefs.

Yes, am also agree, that the papers of M. Phil were not checked properly and the university must take the proper action against it.

I too agree. But I have done B.Com(CA) through a college. In many subjects, they have given me less marks, with eventually pulled me to 9th position in the university.

I had admited M.phil in periyar university through distance education and written examination well and eagerly waiting for results (expected more than 80% of marks). on 25th Jan 2008, they have published results in the net, i was very shocked after seeing the result, it seems that the person who checked the answer sheet have not sufficient knowledge of subject, and the result is he failed me in a paper (Not only me, but also the people who have written exam well). Student who is teaching that subject for last 7-8 year thay also failed. it is very surprising things first time in india you have never seen or hear this types of things. and to hidden this they also mentioned in the result "no re-revaluation". This is also first time in INDIAN university history I really felt bad. i think that we are cheated. University aim is only to earn money, not to educate the peoples. This is the best way because hereafter no Mphil through distance education. I studied in 3 different universities, i had never seen this kind of non-sense. This is the bad experience of all the student this university management is playing with peoples faith, They creating bad name to the periyar university,

I had applied M.phil BIOTECH in periyar university through distance education and i have written examination well and eagerly waiting for results (expected 80% of marks). on 28 FEB 2008, they have published results in the net, i was really shocked after seeing the result, they blindly (mean the person who don know the subject, who don have visible eyes) evaluated and failed me in a paper (Not only me, but also the people who have written exam well). They also mentioned in the result "no re-valuation". I really felt bad. These people are planning to collect money, because hereafter no Mphil through distance education. I studied in 3 different universities, i had never seen this kind of non-sense.
