[Resolved]  Philips Go Gear - Mp4 Player — Service Complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm a customer of Philips for last 10 years. Recently, I bought an MP4 Player, which had some software problem with it. I gave the product to one of your Service Center (New 28,old#38, shanmugam road, west tambaram, Chennai - 600 045) on 08-Jan-08.

When, I went there the people told me that their system got some problem and adviced me to visit the Adyar branch, so that the problem can be resolved in one hour. Since, I was not in a position to go there, I told them that I don't have an issue if you give me in delay.

But unfortunately, after so many phone calls to the service center since 12-Jan-07, my product is not looked after and everytime they get an excuse of two days which is totally unfair for an customer.

I don't think, even for manufacturing a MP4 player would not such a longtime. Today (29-Jan-07), its been 20 days and my product is not yet serviced and delivered to me.

I would request you to look into this issue and resolve it ASAP. I need a reply or a call back with in 48 hours by email or call on the below contact details. Else, I need to take this matter further to Mr. Viswanathan Seshan, Country Manager.

My complaint id is 15405
I have purchased philips MP3 PLAYER Model No. SA3125 from authorized dealer on May 2007 and on 20th feb it has got dead and I taken to authorized philips service centre at Ganga Nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka on 21/02/2008. After checking they have told board has to be replaced and it will take 10 days. I agreed and after 10 ten days when I approach them I got the replay not yet replaced 2 days is required again, I agreed that but still today (10/03/2008) not yet repaired. They keep saying will take time.

Three months back I purchased Philips Go Gear SA33XX 4GB Audio video player. When I switch on this player, on the screen it is showing Device/Database error.So what is the problem of this player and kindly give me the solution for this as soon as possible.

Last January i purchased Philips Go Gear SA19xx 1GB Mp3 player.When i switch on this player i can listen to songs but the player is having issue with its display as its not woking.i have taken it to the place from where i purchased it they said the light has gone but some times when i press it hardly i can c the display and the light is also working.So what is the problem of this player and kindly give me some solution as soon as possible .

i face the same promplem, you can send written complaint to thier registerd address in India and than follow up or you may go to consumer forum.
i got my MP3 after 8 months when i followed up with philips senior management in india.
if you want your device back, kindly talk to right person
Le compre un go gear 4gb a mi hijo y duro como par de dias ya que se le congelo y cuando prende se queda en Gogear, y para apagerlo hay que reset el Philips. Yo pienso que este articulo se devio recojger todo y devolver el dinero. i have given my philips music player in the service center held at hyd due to the technical problem and there by the date given from the service center ,when i went there they told still the problem is not cleared and they told me to come there by another time and as above i went to service center four times and finally they told that give money for courier charges, we will courier it to your address and there by i waited for more than three months ,i did not received any courier and when i went there the service center is closed and i found another shop there , and i went to another philips service center in another area to enquire they told that we do not bother about it and we are not to take responsibility and they are not giving proper response ...
i have the bill and work order receipt also......

I got a Philips Go Gear 4GB Ipod which I bought in 2007. I works wonderful. But, today, I connected that to my desktop computer to organize the playlists at 11 a.m. and it was continuously kept connected till 3:15 pm. During this time, there were 3 times, my computer went auto log off and on. Suddenly, at 3:15 p.m., I got prompted on the computer screen that the ipod is not respond or switched off. When I checked the ipod, it went switched off on its own and since then its not getting on even though I tried so much to switch it on...Please kindly suggest me the solution...I love my ipod a lot and it is the only friend of mine who relieves my day long stress and strain...Please please please kindly help me.

Again had a discussion with a lady for the same on 26th and she confirmed that my call will be addressed in 48 hours from then. Infact i had told them i ll raise this with consumer forum and a reply was given stating it is my wish.
Such big company does not service customers properly and will have to wait for 15 days to get a small work done..

PHILIPS/GOGEAR IPOD — Not attending call

I am Mr. Soumitra Bhattacharjee produce a i pod set to authorised philips service centre M/s Aknit Infotech (Ph no.[protected]/[protected] for repearing on 09/02/2011. My work order no. 11020919. Model no. SA1VBE04k/97. SR no. MT1B[protected]. They said that will replace within one weak. But now they are not receive my phone and asked me to talk philips customer no. [protected]. But I am not getting any satisfied answer from there also. Please take the necessary steps for shake of customer.

i got a philips go gearcam 8GB-SA2CAM08K/97 last year around december. it worked properly for some time but then after a few months one day when i connected it to my pc for charging then later when i disconeted it it started to hang and all my files were deleted and when i checked out the settings it noted that internal memory is 0GB and used space is also 0KB.and the device is not getting detected in my computer. please i need help!!! please kindly suggest me a solution...!!
