[Resolved]  PNB — inordinate delay in realisation of cheques.

two cheques of Rs 10000and 5000 of SBI, BANKURA WEST BENGAL in the name of archana mandal was recd by me and deposited to PNB , Lalbazar br , sec'bad ( ap ) on 11 dec 2007 in my acct no [protected] ( of MEERUT BANK ) but could be credited to my acct only on 18 Jan 2008. Pnb MUST CLARIFY, PENALISE IT'S STAFF INEFFICIENCY OR DEFRAUDS.

my self ravishekhar (a/c=[protected]. i m deposite my cheque in pnd giddi A jharkhand on 29th march bt after 1 months its not be clearence.i think every bank can clearence their cheque more than 4 to 5 day bt pnd cant able to clear my cheque more than 1 months. if you are a user you know very well wat type of problem r created i[censored]r cheque is not clear in one months.my chek no is 282919 axis bank ramgarh jharkhand this is a local cheque. my pnb complain no =54906956.

I submitted an application form for resetting my interntet banking password on 15 feb/march 2011. My account no. is [protected]. after some days i got a message from TD-PNB for activation of sms alert as well as resetting password. but not getting yet any hard copy from bank for login & transaction password. So, i request you to kindly provide it as soon as possible.

Punjab National Bank Hisar (Defence Colony Branch ) After The Death of our father we
goot succession certificate from court and in that succession certificate we have mentioned the fdr no of fixed deposit and saving account Number. The original fdr has been lost by the bank. All necessary documents have been submitted to the bank three months earlier. Now the PNB Bank manager is delaying the payment. Now few notes.
First month the father of Mr Sethi died, a employ of this bank and they delayed the payment.
Second time the Manager said after 15 days come and collect the payment . Third time he said we will ask our lawyer. Now he is saying they have applied to court for making of duplicate FD. This is very very poor performance of the PNB Bank.
How this type of man have been appointed the manager . When you collect the money do you go to court?
What is the meaning of obtaining succession certificate. This means these persons mentioned in the succession certificate are the only legal heirs of the deceased. Though the Photocopy of the fixed deposit was attached with the document. The reason is clear they do not want to give public money and lot of money is forfeited by these type of bank when the customer dies. More over what about the saving bank account of the deceased why that amount have been kept till date.
sir, i wanted to deposite online amount of Agra Branch at Faridabad Punjab National Bank, DAV College, NIT, Faridabad but cashier has refused to deposite the amount and said that the amount will be deposited by only Main Branch Faridabad.

I m working in Block Education Office Babain. the branch of pnb in babain kurukshetra are so bad that they treated Teachers like servants. when any customer is ask for pass book filling they said that bank are closed at 12, but the closing time of bank is 2 pm. when any one ask for account opening they don't even bother to help the customer and always say that we are into govt job do what ever you want even manager is also like this. they even not behave properly.please help.is gov job is like this .???

DEAR SIR,

THE IS THE COMPLAINT AGAINST THE WORKING OF THE BRANCH AND THE IRRESPONSIBLE AND WORST BAD BEHAVIOR WITH THE CUSTOMERS, BY THE BANK EMPLOYEES/STAFF IN THE BRANCH, THE WORKING THE BRANCH IS SO POOR THAT THE CLEARING OF THE INSTRUMENTS IS NOT EVEN SENT ON THE SAME DAY, IF WE ASK THEM WHY DID THIS HAPPEN THE CLARIFICATION IS GIVEN THAT THERE WAS VIRUS ATTACK IN OUR NETWORK, THE SR. MANAGER GIVES THE CLARIFICATION THAT THERE WAS SOME PROBLEM IN THE BANK.
LET ME ASK YOU IF THE BANK HAS THE WORK LOAD WHY THE STAFF LEAVES THE BANK BETWEEN 4 TO 4:30 PM WHICH I HAVE SEEN THE STAFF LEAVING THE BRANCH FOR THERE HOMES BETWEEN THESE TIMES..
I DROPPED A CHQ ON 13THE OCT 20111 IN THE MORNING AND THE BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN REFLECTED ON THE THIRD THAT ON 15TH OCT 2011 BUT STILL THE CLEARING HAS NOT BEEN IN MY ACCOUNT ..
IF I HAD ISSUED AN CHQ AGAINST MY ACCOUNT THE INSTRUMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED DEFINING THAT THE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT WILL THE SR. MANAGER OR THE BANK WOULD TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE 138 PROCEEDING AGAINST ME FORM THE PARTY, I WANT ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST BRANCH STAFF AND WANT ME TO BE INFORMED THE SAME

Dear Sir,

There is a complaint against PNB at Rajendra Nagar Branch Bareilly(UP).I have deposited fee against Challan for IBPS today at 1500hrs and the bank staff told me to wait up to 1700hrs to collect Challan otherwise collect my paid fee and try in another bank, which is the minimum permissible time for process due to limited staff. I never seen like this delay in other bank i.e SBI which hardly take10 to 15 minutes. Nobody will wait for a simple transaction up to 3 hrs or visit bank twice or thrice for same job.I am also a permanent consumer of PNB but do not think to be continue my acct for life long if like this situation will arise again

You are requested to look into this matter and enhance the performance of bank as well as staff.

Respected Sir,
I sent MY Office clerk MR. Chandan Bhardwaj and Mr Raj Kumar to deposit a cheque no[protected] amounting to Rs 1800 issued by Punjab School Education Board Mohali in the favour of Ashima in her saving account no [protected] stands at Budhlada (Distt Bathinda).They deposited the said cheque on the prescribed slip at ur Sector 61 (Phase -7) Branch situated at Mohali on Nov. 3rd, 2012, but till date amount is not transfered in her account. We all the persons goes to the bank for clarification they always ignore us.
Sir Ashima is a very poor girl, her father is not more. Punjab School Education Board Mohali giving a scholarship to her due to she took Ist position in the exams. This cheque is also relates with the scholarship. It can be checked/ verified on CCTV footing of 3rd Nov 2012 recorded in the bank branch that they hv deposited the cheqe. Sir I request u Kindly look into the matter symptomatically she needs this money very badly for her further study in Engineering College.

On 3rd Nov 2012 My two office colegeges deposited a cheque amounting to Rs 1800/- no[protected] in the SB Ac No [protected] of Aashima . This Cheque is not cleared till date. She is a poor girl n her father is no more. Punjab School Education Board has issued this cheque as a scholarship to her, but ur bank is harasing without any reason. On the CCTV footage of the bank it can be checked that said cheque was deposited in ur bank's box. Please intimate me about the delay and which person is responsible for that.
