[Resolved]  Pure-It — Replacement of refill

My water filter is not working because of the refill.Pure-it water filter company (Hindustan lever pvt. ltd. ) if cannot provide the services then why these people selling the products. We are complianting from last 20-25 days for change the refill. Nobody came here. We gave call to the customer care today itself, they told us to come today but nobody came. You people do one thing give my money back & get your water filter out of my house. I'll compliant in consumer court that you making people fool with giving advertisement that you are the best.

Hindustan Unilever (P) Ltd./ Pure It — Pure It

First of all i want to give thank to Indian Consumer Complaint Forum for forward my compalint. I ahve registered my compalint against Hindustan Unilever on 15.6.09 regarding the services and misbehavoiur done by the costimer care.

With effect from your action they called us after 3 days and appologies, but pls note that till date services has not done.

Now I asked them for compensation for the mis behaviour/ abused done by them, compensation for the inconvience faced by me regulary as i have already mentioned that i have to purchase water from outside,

Also i want to claim their challenge for 1 crore as the water is not pure, always there is ants inside the purifier for which we have to clean time to time. One more thing i observed that around 1 liter water is always remains in the purifier that water has not circulate. I think this is not good/safe.

I have told all these things to them but they are not taking serious action. everytime i called them but there is no reply from them. Today after my wife's call they are saying o.k we can give you free battery only not compensation.

As this problem is for every six months because there is auto cut system in the purifier. I told them that we d'nt require your service as we have no stamina for every six months,

Pls take the appropraite action. we will be very thankful to you.

I AM FED UP WITH HINDUSTAN LEVER WATER FILTER REFFILLING, AS LAST ONE MONTH I HAVE REQUEST FOR REFFELLING, EVERYTIME I GOT ANSWER WITHING 24 HOURS MEN WILL COME AND CHANGE THE BATTER, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, I AM FED UP..

I HAVE SEEN ONE OF THE WORST SERVICE EVER FROM HINDUSTAN LEVER, , ALL THE BEST FOR NEW CUSTOMER, EVEN HOTLINE NUMBER TODAY NOT WORKING ...

I had purchased a PureIT water filter; Customer Id No.-[protected]. After 4 months the Battery Kit turned red, so I had ordered another battery kit which was worth Rs.510 that supposed to give 2250 liters of filtered water, it was fitted in month of June but the new kit turned red again in end of August, so this battery kit lasted only 2 months.

Whereas THE CO. SAYS THAT 2000 LTR WATER WILL BE FILTERED by its BATTERY of Rs. 510/- BUT …!!!

Logically if I have to purchase battery kit 4~5 times a year, the cost will be more than my total purchase cost of the filter.

I have made lot of calls to the customer care but only assurances have been given to me by them and Inspite of my regular calling and complaint registration no response has been shown from the company’s side.

After my frequent phone calls at the PUREIT Customer Care Department. One of the Representative (Mr. Manoj) from PUREIT has visited my home to check the battery but I’m very sorry to say that he was just a fraud guy. When I forcely asked him to show me his I- card and his contact number he provided me a totally wrong mobile number and I-card, there was no I-card at him.

I can just say that, HUL IS JUST FOOLING THE CUSTOMER BY SENDING THE FAULTY BATTERY AND EARNIMG PROFITS, I SHOULD SAY THEY ARE JUST CHEATING AND HARRASING THE CUSTOMERS AND EARING GOOD PROFIT. MY LATEST COMPAINT NUMBER IS C[protected] registered on 7th September ‘2010 and the customer care executive who attended my call was named Mr. Kamal.

I have lost my trust and faith on Hindustan Unilever. I have decided not to go for any sorts of products recommended by “HINDUSTAN LEVER LTD" in future.

NOW, I ‘LL NOT BE HAVING ANY OPTION LEFT FOR ME EXCEPT GOING TO THE CONSUMER COURT. DONT HAVE ANY OPTION BUT TO GO TO COMSUMER COURT.

I was send my request to refill battery on 04.09.2011, on same time I heard message which is in 48 hrs. my request will be completed. Till today i.e. 09.09.2011 my request is not completed by the Pure-it company.
LAST 10 DAYS I TRY TO CONTACT WITH THE PURE IT CUSTOMER CARE FOR REFILLING MY PURE IT BUT CUSTOMER CARE PHONE LINE IS NOT WORKING. THEN HOW CAN I BOOK THE SAME AND GET THE SERVICE PROPERLY, ? MAY I CONTACT WITH THE CONSUMER FORUM ?

i have same complaint for the company. the cost of refil is very high. HINDUSTAN LEVER LTD is doing good business by making cost of refil so high. at the time of purchasing they told us one refil will work till 6 month. but now in every 2 month my water filter is not working.
i would like to advise people not to buy such kind of filter. please go for another brands available in market.
it is vey very costly filter.
Very poor service, I ordered kit more than 5 days ago and still not delivered. Ridiculous customer service and dealership. Get back to me ASAP

I have ordered a change in may 10, 2013 about 2 months back to change my refill and it is red now in only 2 months approx that is on july 11, 2013.

It just lasted 2 months that means HUL is cheating the customers with the battery og poor quality..

My service registration no is on mobile [protected].

I would not recommend The pureit by HUL as it has poor service.

Todays after 2 days it has not been changed till time 5 pm and very poor response from the HUL people.

Definitely go for another brand and interested in changing to some other but not the pureit by HUL.
It has been 6 years since I have been using PureIT Classic water filter. I had been replacing the battery kit from time to time.
Once it happened that the replacement indicator never turned red even after replacing the kit again and again.
I had complained about this and they said it would turn red as they had replaced the indicator..
Since last two replacements, the indicator is not working and I am changing the kit by just guessing that it needs to be changed.

Hope my complaint is taken seriously.

From the day it is Pureit is bought after constatnt complaining my problem is not rectified . Every month i am replacing the germ kit. noone givin the solution. I am requested to make my replacement of the filter as from day one its being all issues . or give me replacement of new set up .

matter is urjent and hope it to be attended.

PATHETIC SERVICE

To begin with, I must say that it is very disappointing that even a company like Hindustan Unilever cheats its customers and has such a pathetic service.

I had ordered a pureit refill on 2nd May 2014 at 8.30 am (Customer ID: [protected]). Your representative called me on the same day at 10.00 am . When I told him that i am at work and he can come after 6.30 pm on the same day, he said that his technical person will get in touch with me. There was NO CONTACT by them for the next 3 days. They called me on 5th May at 11.30 am, and when I demanded my free kit as HUL has a promise that I get the kit free if i dont get it within 72 hours, these people were lied that they have contacted me, when they HAD NOT. Your person, a certain Mr. Akshay Kamble was exceptionally rude.

Then I called up your customer care and all I have been getting is FAKE assurances since the past few days. I have been calling almost everyday for the service, but all they are saying is that some technical team of yours will get in touch with me. This is happening for the past 4 days.

Now picture this... this is the mid of May, the summers are at peak, and I am without drinking water. I spend 100 bucks everyday for drinking water. Are you understanding my situation? and is your company ready to do anything about it?? Or do let me know whether i should throw your filter in the garbage.
