[Resolved]  Pure-It — Pathetic Service by Pure-it by Hindustan Unilever

We had purchased a Pure-it water purifier few months back & currently on 14Th May'10 had ordered for a New Germ Kill Kit as the old needs to be replaced. But till date no one had visited to replace the same. We had followed up with the call centre for 5 times in alternate days, but every time got the same response that some one will attend the next day. Kindly help.

Hindustan Unilever Pure It — Pathetic services

I am Jyoti Jain. I am residing in 31/1, S.Extn., Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar New Delhi-110059. We Bought a Hindustan unilever Pure it Machine before 8 months. The battery is not working and we want to change the battery of the Machine. I complained on[protected] they have complain with the name of my father which is Ramesh chand Jain. Every time they said mam executive will come at ur house within three days. But no body is there. We don't have any other system in our house to purify the water.
I think that Hindustan Unilever workers have only one work that they just sell the machine and after that they don't bother whether the machine is working or not.

I think these branded products company just made their own rules and no body is there to take relevant actions against them.

I request you to pls take relevant actions so that people will not face any problem with their products.

Same thing happened with me. I called to customer care of Pure-It to get replacement of filter and they could not send there executive in last 10 days. They are pathetic in providing services. To sell the product they come immediately but to service the customer there support people gives hell lot of fundas. Avoid purchasing Hindustan Unilever Ltd PUREIT, because it must require replacement of parts once in six months like filter, battery etc and there service is horrible. So you need to bear with their harassment min twice a year.

HUL Pure it — Pathetic customer care service

I purchsed a pure it on 9th of october and has been calling customer care people to replace the same or fix the problem but in vain..it seems that these complaints goes in errant ears...

Such kind of service is not expected from a reputed company like unilever.
TELL ME SONA. I WILL BUY YOU A UNILIVER.. I LOVE YOU SONA... MISSING YOU... uniliver relapce it for my sona...

I had purchased a PureIT water filter; Customer Id No.-[protected]. After 4 months the Battery Kit turned red, so I had ordered another battery kit which was worth Rs.510 that supposed to give 2250 liters of filtered water, it was fitted in month of June but the new kit turned red again in end of August, so this battery kit lasted only 2 months.

Whereas THE CO. SAYS THAT 2000 LTR WATER WILL BE FILTERED by its BATTERY of Rs. 510/- BUT …!!!

Logically if I have to purchase battery kit 4~5 times a year, the cost will be more than my total purchase cost of the filter.

I have made lot of calls to the customer care but only assurances have been given to me by them and Inspite of my regular calling and complaint registration no response has been shown from the company’s side.

After my frequent phone calls at the PUREIT Customer Care Department. One of the Representative (Mr. Manoj) from PUREIT has visited my home to check the battery but I’m very sorry to say that he was just a fraud guy. When I forcely asked him to show me his I- card and his contact number he provided me a totally wrong mobile number and I-card, there was no I-card at him.

I can just say that, HUL IS JUST FOOLING THE CUSTOMER BY SENDING THE FAULTY BATTERY AND EARNIMG PROFITS, I SHOULD SAY THEY ARE JUST CHEATING AND HARRASING THE CUSTOMERS AND EARING GOOD PROFIT. MY LATEST COMPAINT NUMBER IS C[protected] registered on 7th September ‘2010 and the customer care executive who attended my call was named Mr. Kamal.

I have lost my trust and faith on Hindustan Unilever. I have decided not to go for any sorts of products recommended by “HINDUSTAN LEVER LTD" in future.

NOW, I ‘LL NOT BE HAVING ANY OPTION LEFT FOR ME EXCEPT GOING TO THE CONSUMER COURT. DONT HAVE ANY OPTION BUT TO GO TO COMSUMER COURT.
