[Resolved] PureIT Water Filter — small insects/ants entering water filter | |
I HV PURCHASED PUREIT WATER FILER 3 MONTHS BACK, THE SL NO OF THE FILER IS RPM[protected] My probelm is that the filtered water is having small ants/insects. There is a gap in between the chambers. This matter was brought to the notice of your Complaint dept through phone. I had to call several time for this complaint. But till today nobdoy has turned up. Now I cannt use the filtered water for drinking purpose as your so called filtered water is having ants/insects. The power at home was out and we had to run the water all the way to the bottom of the internal storage tank, and the water at the end carried with it hundreds of ants and little insects. This is deeply disturbing.

Pureit Water Filter — ants
I am puzzled by the strong attraction that Pureit has for red ants. They keep climbing up the filter trying to enter inside. Is there any chemical in Pureit that is attracting the ants? Some manage to enter the 1st stage of the filter. Is there any solution?
