[Resolved]  Puricom Water Pvt. Ltd. — installation of inappropriate parts

I took the two year service contract from the company (Puricom Water Pvt. Ltd.) for the maintenance of aquaguard (gold model) for Rs. 1700. However, the parts installed by the company are not as per the model and do not purify the water properly. Through the repeated follow up with the company personnel for the past 15 days I have realized that they don't have the suitable parts pertainning to my water-purifying system. As per the current status. I am requesting them to either install the right carbon and filter or cancel the contract and return the contract money. But there is no favourable action from their side untill now.

i have also a complaint against this company. i took AMC from them on 15/5/12, it is valid till 14/08/14. they are such a fraud that they want renewal mony in may only, they refused to do the servicing without renewal money. the lady on the phone was shouting at me like i have done something wrong. i want to go to consumer court against this company. can anyone guide me?

Dear sir,

This is in reference to the RO system purchased against your invoice/ service contract receipt number 301732 dated 12.06.07 in the name of Gayatri Chamaria, installed at East Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi-26.

As you already know that the above mentioned machine has already repaired 4 to 5 times from the date installation by your service engineer and we have suffered a lot during this period.

The day one when it was installed at our house, in the evening time there was a problem of no water supply, then I made a complaint for the same but after approximately 7 days your engineer came and rectified the problem but the same problem arrived again and again and also from the day one we have asked for the new stand for the new machine but you engineer assured me that he will replace the stand within few days which is still pending till now.

And now one another problem has arrived, which is water leakage from the water tank and the same problem rectified by your service engineer after the 7 days from the date of which I made the complaint. Now the water leakage problem has arrived again.

Now please clarify that, how I can continue with such RO system, which is repaired many times within 3 months from the date of installation. I am getting fed up with the entire RO system and this is for the first time when I purchase such system from you and it was very bad experience.

I request you to kindly replace the entire RO system with new unit or refund my money, which I have paid you for the above installed system.

Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

The customer is right this company is like that only they take contracts and insteat of geniune spares like filter and carbon they always bring duplicate from local Baghirat place and if you will not check your Purifier is gone better not to Trust this company and avoid taking any item or Service contract

the customer is right this company is bad news.I have RO for 5 yrs no complaints, 1st time used them for servicing and took a contract ;i'm facing problems since. When we complain the person taking complain is rude and it takes them a week to come.I'm at my wits end, i just want them to return my money and cancel the contract.

Every time their representative visit raises abill but un-able to rectify the system

I had been contacted by Puricom several times saying that they repair and service RO likewise when my RO needed repair I called them, they came according t o their advice they asked me to change the Membrane and charged Rs.2000/- for the membrane and he left with the money as he left the machine started leaking and the severy next day was Diwali and after 2 days we kept complaining and after calling daily for 1 month the person came after 45 days and told that he should take the machine then only they can repair, those who took 45 days to attend a complaint if they take the machine whats there if they dont return the machine i asked them to either return the money or repair it here, they never did it now on calling them they ignore.

The above contact was signed by puricom with me for providing free services for 1 year in respect of my Acua guard water purifier. It was an extension of earlier contracts of the past many years. But after signing of the contract puricom has been avoiding its services for maintenance of my puricom in as much as it avoided providing 1st service. Recent example is that I made complaint No. 1507 6 days back and none turned up to attend the same despite my daily calls to puricom for thee same till today. Your man who came today first avoided to change the candle and carbon and then put the used one which had torn covers . I checked and found that water was as clear as it was prior to changing the same and had the same been changed water would have come of light blackish colour for few minutes and it is for this that your mechanic also advice not to use the water for 15minutees after change of candle and carbon. I lodged thee complaint immediately with your office and the girl sitting there refused to give me any complaint No. for this and on my insisting gave it as 1607 which certainly is wrong. These are the facts which I have brought on record to show as to how your mechanics play with lives of thee customers who take your contacts for getting purified water with regular change of candles and carbons of the purifier. I will take further action accordingly

After sending the above notice I also sent the message on whats up at No. [protected] of their rep. stating “I have to inform you that in my notice dt. 12.6.2018 sent to your company the invoice No. has wrongly been mentioned as 804690 in place of 801690. The notice is regarding fraudulently putting used candle and carbon while changing the previous ones despite my stopping your mechanic not to do it and reporting about the same soon thereafter to your company as per call records of my phone. You had promised to get the new one put in the machine but have not done so . Let the matter go to consumer court and your candle and carbonin question sent to its lab for determining whether the same are new or months old and let the public know as to what your company does for appropriate civil and criminal actions. After this notice they telephoned me and kept me befooling that the carbon and candle would be changed and when the same were not changed for days together I told them that now I am going to make complaints to the appropriate authorities and filing civil and criminal cases against them for their breach of contract, fraud, cheating and other criminal acts which I have learnt from other reviews of customers that they committed the same with them also. The girl sitting on the call threatened me and challenged me to take any action and make any complaint. This is the same act of this company which I have read on consumer complaint desk while reading reviews of other consumers. . But I am competent to teach them a lesson of their life and for their acts of fraud and cheating and goondaism I am going to file 3 cases against them including for damages just on opening of the courts after summer vacations besides making complaints to the Registrar of companies and other authorities for cancellation of their registration. They will be made to spend 2-3 lakhs in contesting the cases and still will not come out clean in the same and are likely to be heavily penalized. I will see what approach do they have as I read in reviews of other customers who stated that due to their approach in govt. necessary actions against their fraud and cheating are not taken. It too would be defeated and in courts no one can otherwise also use any approach and pressure and has to spend only towards lawyers fees to contest the cases and they will also have to do the same.
