[Resolved] PVR Cinemas — Failed Online ticket booking money not refunded | |
On the 24-Dec-09, I tried booking 4 tickets for Avatar movie throught he website www.pvrcinemas.com. Due to some glitch in the site, the transaction wasnt successful. A messagebox showed up everytime saying something like, "Your tickets cannot be booked, If money has been debited from your account it will be refunded". I tried 6 times, 2 times with Debit Card and 4 times with Credit Card. Ther transaction was successful at the 6th attempt. But to my surprise, I was charged for the 5 failed attempts as well. It has been 11 days but till date, I have not received any communication from PVR cinemas even after sending several reminder emails to them. My bank says that the amount has been deposited in the PVR account, but not refunded. To summarize Amount for 1 booking : Rs. 1480/- Amount charged from me : 1480 * 6 = Rs. 8880/- Amount to be refunded : 1480 * 5 = Rs. 7440/- Was this information helpful? | |

Please be informed that the 2nd transaction from credit card ending with 4005 was the valid transaction that you have agreed in your complaint. The 2 transactions through Net Banking have also been refunded on 11th Jan, 2010.
We request you to coordinate the same with your bank for the same.

Please note that your 2 transactions on Credit Card ending with 4018 were refunded on 11th Jan, 2010 and 1 transaction from credit card ending with 4005 was also refunded on 11th Jan, 2010. We are investigating the 2nd transaction from this card and the 5th transaction from Net banking. Please allow us time and we will update you on the same as well.
