It is a fraud, some of the people have been waiting for 4 to 5 years or even more, It is high time they realized that these people are taking them for a ride! They are taking advantage of the Greed in Human Beings LOL!!
Hi Everyone,

Please don't be allured by the brand name (in this case Reader's Digest). These guys are very clever in tricking us. I had been captivated by their tricks. In the past (7 years before) the editions were so nice.. But now-a-days these editions are not so good in quality.

The very fact that they are sending such promotions and sweepstakes is a proof that they (Reader's Digest) have lost their fame :)

my way of looking at this is that RD has become so poor that they are "literally begging" for subscribers.. What a pity? :) :)
i also recieved a letter that i won this rupees and a car...i send all 3 tickets to the mentioned address...but i dont get any reply...
To,
Mr. Vikas Malhotra
Sweepstakes Director

This is R. Davidkumar and my access code number is 10-RDIN09-RDI[protected]/0-11-3 RDIN09 which i have already received from you.

And also i have already paid the annual subscription amount of Rs. 449/- and Rs. 23/- for the VPP Charges to the Post Office at Thirunagar, Madurai - 625 006. My VPP Number is Q-10291

I have also received a parcel of Three handbooks i.e., from Living Media Ltd., New Delhi.
1. Great funny one liners
2. Increase your life score
3. How to win any argument

But as you have mention earlier in your mail you have not sent me any Reader's digest copies. As you promised you have to send me the Reader's digest From March 2010 but i did not received them yet.

I dont know whats happening and how you are going to keep theses registered. In the meantime i have received a mail from you asking me to pay the amount again. What's this? How you people are going to keep these tracks correct and how you will have this sweepstakes? and how we are going to gain i dont know.

Kindly reply me and send me the Reader's digest copies from March 2010 and once again i tell you i have already paid the amount of Rs. 449/- and Rs. 23/- Totally Rs. 472/- to the postmaster.

Is this also a scam?

Awaiting for your reply,
R. Davidkumar

i have received a mail from reader digest sweepstakes director vikas mehrotra about winning the draw is this true
These are all fraud. Do not believe them and do not post confidential information like ur credit card details, banking passwords etc.

We all can apply a little common sense and understand that advertisement of this kind is likely to be fake.

Azahar
