[Resolved]  Reebok India — Defective shoes

Bought a Reebok Shoe costing 7999/- on 1st May 2011 from M/s Dolly Sports at Spice Mall, Noida.
Pieces of the sole came off within 40 days o[censored]sage. Took the shoe back to the dealer on 24th June 2011 and was told that it would be sent for inspection to the company. We called up to find the status many times and were finally told in mid July to come and take a replacement.
We are not interested in taking the same model of the shoe as we have had a bad experience on the shoe.But the dealer is forcing the same shoe on us again.
Currently a Sale is on at all Reebok stores. BUt we are being forced to take another shoe at MRP, whereas the sale price should be applicable or our entire money refunded. We want our value worth of money which we had paid at that point of time . We are not asking for the compensation on the problems faced due to the defective piece. We are only wanting the value worth of money, which is Rs. 7999/-. Either refund our money or we should get equivalent amount in merchandise at today's pricing.

I bought a pair of Reebok Shoes for Rs.7000 which after discount costs me Rs.4200, from Authorized Reebok Outlet in Udaipur, court choraya 15 days before. And now they are having stitching problem.
it is a high dissatisfaction that after purchasing such a costly product also you are not getting good quality.
We bought two pairs of Reebok shoes from their authorized showroom, M/s. R. S. International, Preet Vihar, Delhi - 110092 on 08/05/2011, during the sale period. My son took one pair to France (Greenoble)for his Engineering summer internship which was financed by Government of France. In a weeks time the soles of the pair came out. Just see, what embarrasement, he must have felt there. On his return we visited the showroom on 29/07/2011, the attitude of the showroom owner was un-called for. He straight away refused for any help and asked us to approach the customer care. We gave comments in the diary kept there.

I feel this company is selling defective and old lots during the sale period and cheating innocent Indians. If a product lasts only one week then one can very well imagin the quality of their products.

We have still to writr to their customer care, but one thing we have decided, not to buy any Reebok products in future not only by my family, but by most of our close circle people with whom we have hared our experience.

Such like companies who adopt such like practices to cheat Indians, should be de-barred from putting their products on sale, the better would be to de-bar them from entering in Indian markets.

I hope with such like feed backs spreading among the sufferrers these companies may learn some lesson. The worst part is Indians selling their products are even helping these companies to cheat Indians and do not help the customers.

Let all o[censored]s, the sufferrers come together and teach them a lesson and also write to the appropriate authorities in India, so that these companies can stop cheating Indians.

I had bought Reebok Easytone Raceon shoes worth Rs. 5999/- in the month of April, 2011. In August I realised the shoes were defective. Took them to the various Reebok stores and they refused to help me saying that the warranty of 3 months has expired. They said they cannot replace it, but can ask somebody to repair it that too for a charge of Rs. 250/- . I feel this is unfair.
I fully agree with this complaint as I am also facing the same problem with Reebok. We need to deal strictly with Reebok.
I purchased a black pair of shoes few years back from Vijayawada, AP for approximate 1900/- rs on 30% discount and soon after the purchase there were sever cracks in the shoes all around. To my discomfiture i lost my receipt also in the meantime and after contacting the store in the Hyderabad it was not heard. Now i have been shifted to my native place Lucknow, UP. and truely speaking i didnt use the shoes for more than 4 months. these pairs are still lying with me, kindly suggest how can i get worth for my shoes.

Reebok — shoes are not proper

I have bought a pair of reebok shoes from company outlet ,paldi, ahmedabad,thinking a well known company will provide me the best shoes but i am very disappointed.The sole came out of it and they charged me

rs.250/-. they returned it in 15-20 days and the pair is not properly mended.
I don't know whether my problem will be solved or not?? But hope that it will be resolved earlier.
Agreed.My experience is also similar . I doubt Reebok is selling defective shoes in India.This should be protested.

I purchased a pair ROCKPORT shoes product no APM1214F from Reebok counter at Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar vide bill no 2591 date[protected]. Surprisingly there was no price tag attached in any shoe. When asked, the man in the cash said that they do not have enough employee to tag it.The computer was out of order.On purchase of five articles, the person in the cash point issued me a hand receipt and received the money and gave the articles stating that after the computer system is restored the bill may be collected from him.

Next day I put on the shoes and went to office. In one hour time o[censored]se I found both the soles have cracked and partly detached. At 2 PM on[protected] I went to the counter and requested him for the receipt. After obtaining the receipt, I showed him the damaged shoes and requested him for exchange. The person in your sales counter collected the receipt from me and said that he would do something after he talks to his senior person. Saying this he went to the first for. After a few minutes, expressing helplessness, he came back and returned me the receipt by putting a seal NO REFUND, NO GUARRENTEE, NO EXCHANGE . This was not printed earlier. He further gave me your mail ID and asked me to mail you.
Another gentleman, Mr Tattwarshi, a young Engineer who was also victim of another fraud was also complaining about his article. His phone number is [protected]. As learnt from Mr Tatwadarshi a local news reporter of local daily 'The Sambad' has also been victim of deficiency/ fraud as learnt from Mr Tattwadarshi.I have not yet come accross the news reporter.

Reebok School Shoes — Reebok School Shoes not available in any stores

For last 2 months we are looking for Reebok School Shoes and its not available in any Reebok store’s. Can you help me how to get Reebok School Shoes.
Reebok India:

We purchase a pair of shoes from Reebok India, per the following details:

Purchased item: R152252 MRP Rs. 1599

They were purchased on 28th October 2012 and gifted to my daughter in December 2102. By January 2013, the lower/outer sole had started ripping out and now, after barely 15 occasions of wearing the shoes, the entire shoe has got separated from the thick sole. This clearly demonstrates that the shoe was defectively manufactured, as this has not happened even in 10 year old Reebok shoes that I am wearing.

This is very untypical of Reebok as your products are usually very reliable! We purchased these shoes from the Reebok store adjacent to Crescent mall overlooking the Qutub Minar, along the road leading to Andheria Morh, near the Saket crossing. The invoice is from Ritz Overseas, Shahdara.


Please arrange to have these shoes collected from my house and duly replaced with a fresh pair. I am sure you would like to get this done simply and easily, as I don't want to have to take this to the Consumer Disputes' Redressal Forum.

I bought two pairs of Reebok shoes from an authorized showroom Suncorp Lifestyles LTD, habsiguda, hyderabad-500007.Bill no- 10551,
Tin no [protected], group "J18063 DUMMY", purchased on 25/01/2013 during the sale period . In a weeks time the soles of the pair came out, is this the quality you are maintaining, i have used it not more then 14 days. I went to showroom to tell him the problem, he told me that i will make it sicked and he charged me RS 300/- that to after 15 working days you can collect your shoes.

I feel this company is selling defective and old lots during the sale period and cheating innocent people. I have decided, not to buy any Reebok products in future not only by my family, but by most of our close circle people with whom we have hared our experience.

I think of replacement or repairing the shoes will bring out the customer at least with satisfaction.
