Refrigerator — “so called the dead body ”
I was a proud owner of your product (LG refrigerator) ; model No- GR312M Chasis No- 703380305 which we purchased on 5/7/1997. I would like to mention that previously I had privilege of having an Indian brand “Godrej” for 25 years without any hassle or trouble. I purchase LG brand considering its brand image, size of our family and status in the society.
But I am writing you after this horrible experience of the product and its service facilities available in National Capital Territory Region in India. We in north region of India were going through brutal heating conditions during recent past as mercury was showing 44+ degree centigrade, in addition to that longer power cuts which actually would have caused us to feel that our so called LG refrigerator is little less effective these days.
We called at your Delhi call center no 011-39010909 on 29th June at 5:14 PM and reported Refrigerator less effective complaint registration no- N9C62915307, call receiver informed that reported concern will be resolved in 24 hrs which they failed and again another complaint was reported on 30th June at 4:20 PM at same number. Later after another reminder one Service Engineer visited and after a routine 5 minutes inspection suggested some minor defect like leakage of gas from somewhere and informed that suggested defect would be corrected within 24 hrs.
Again on 1st July we called at same number at 5:17 PM and explained about previous happening in this regard, the call receiver provided another no of Ghaziabad’s LG service network- M/s Fare deal Service center Ph No- 01204564631, 01204564634. - When called on these numbers it was assured again that some Engineer will surely be visiting in late hours same day. Further on 3rd July Service Engineer (Ph no- 9990071862) visited at 9:30 AM and completed repairs by 10:00 AM and charged very small amount INR- 1025 only and left.
Later in the afternoon we observed that refrigerator was not at all cooling and was barely seemed an almirah. We again tried to contact at Engineers’ mobile no but it was not responding which later on was kept switch of for whole day.
Today morning I again tried at Engineers no. which thankfully was responding this time and I informed about the present condition of refrigerator on which I was informed that he has nothing to do with it now as he left the job and suggested to inform the same to his agency also.
Finally we again reported another complaint regarding the condition of “so called the death body” with another complaint no- N9C70400247.
Sir, I am really shattered to learn such experience which I never-ever had in my 60 yrs life, I am forced to beg for cold drinking water or ice cubes from my neighbors in such conditions and surprised about the poor product performance and available service standards LG electronics.
I was wrong in selecting LG brand for my requirement and belief that I would never ever purchase any product of this brand- which by default will be communicated to my children’s and grand children’s also.
