I have applied my Passport on Dec 12th of 2008 and also Police verification cleared by feb 15th, but yet i didnt receieve my passport ...Please, kindly let me know the reason for delay in dispatching passport for a long time .Sir Kindly, Consider this issue and dispatch me my passport as early as possible...

Sub: Delay in Passport Provisioning

I have applied for a passport in Collector Office, Salem on 3rd July 2006. The application number for my passport is z402447/06. The procedures for the verification and allotment of passport have been completed. But, the whole process has not been completed within six months from the date of application. As a result, the validity for the Demand Draft has been void. Therefore, I had to re-apply the passport again. When I enquired about this in Salem on 18th July 2007, I have been informed that all the procedures had been completed in Salem. They are unable to provide any further information and asked us to check with PRO (Public Relations Officer), Chennai.

When I went to Chennai to check for this on 18th November 2008, I have been asked to provide a written letter requesting for re-verification process. I have provided the same. No one had come to my premises for verification. As a result, there is still no progress in provisioning the passport. I have even complained about this through an e-mail ([protected]@tn.nic.in). I have not received any reply for that complaint. Please let me know what the current status of my passport application is and when the passport will be delivered.

If you are unable to process this passport application, please cancel it, so that I can at least apply for a new passport again. It has been more than 900 days since I applied this passport. As an Indian citizen, I think I don’t have to wait for this long to get a passport from Indian government.

sir, i have applied for passport and my police enquiry was over on june 23. but i stil didnt receive the passpost.. when would u get my passport??

my father :- balan kunjukrishnan who has applied for a passport thru tatkal scheme on 08/9/09, file number B031161, I have checked the status, Awaiting police clearence. how long will it take to clear and receive his passport.

I have applied for my passport on july 6th 2009.My police enquiry was finished on 26th of the same month.but i stil didnt receive the passport.my file reference no is Z554814.i just look my status in internet, it shows

1)Incorrect File No. / Year / Date of Birth - Please try again.
2)Application was submitted more than one year back.
3)Your Passport might have been despatched a month back and has not returned to us.

please let me know When will i get my passport...
