[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad — Delay in Passport delivery

respected sir, i had applied passport apllication on 25th may and my police enquiry at both permanent and temporary adresses are completed one month ago.still i didn't get my passport and the status is showing police report is incomplete and under examination..so, please tell me about that i have to attempt an exam which requires passport compulsory..so please help me..

My daughter applied for Passport under Tatkal Scheme on 17 January 2011 vide File Ref. No. HYD-A[protected]. In the Status enquiry it is displaying that Passport is ready on 24 January 2011.
I request the authorities concerend to look into the matter and expedite dispatch of Passport and do the needful.

I've applied for my Daughter passport on 5th Apr 2011 and I was told that it will be dispatched by 16th May. Till now, I don't see any progress. police verification also done. I've applied for my Sons passport on 29th July and I was told that it will be dispatched by 19th August. Till now, I don't see any progress. Police verification has been done. When I call the enquiry, they are simply asking me whether the police verification has been done or not and giving generic answer. The online status site shows that the passport will be dispatched by 19th August 2011. The application # is C017528. I will be thankful, if the request is expidited.

I have applied for a renewal of my passport at Regional passport office, Hyderabad in Oct-2011. (File reference # W717294) Police enquiry was done in the month of Jan , 2012 and verfication report was sent to the passport office. My online status changed to "Police Verification is clear and the passport will be despatched. Again, it changed to "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". The status has not changed since 3 - 4 weeks. I request you to please take necessary action so that I can get my passport at the earliest.

I have still not received my passport. I need to travel to US soon and do not have my passport yet. This is a very troubling issue. I am checking the status online regularly but the status is the same -'It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time'. This is really very annoying as it has already been 6 months since I have applied for renewal. I request the concerned authorities to take prompt action as I am simply being penalised by not receiving my passport in time and I need to plan my travel to US to attend my son's convocation soon.

Just to be clear, my file reference number is HYD-W[protected]. I need the passport soon to attend my son's convocation ceremony in May. I have already waited for 6 MONTHS.I am really feeling helpless as I am not be able to attend his graduation ceremony without receiving my passport soon. PLease, take the necessary action immediately.
