[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad — regarding issuing of allotment date online

Hi ! I applied for the Passport at Vijayawada on 12th May 2008. And Police enquiry has been completed on 16th June 2008. I received my Passport today ie: 16th August 2008. It took 3months.

The Problem Is :
My Name is Big
surname is : ABCDEFGHIJKL
Name :[protected] [protected] Example )

it was Printed As

Surname : ABCDEFGHIJKL[protected] [ First name[protected] was typed in the surname coloumn along with the surname ]

Name : 2222222223333344444444 [ The other name is Printed with out any Spaces between them Like This 2222222223333344444444 Instead of[protected] 44444444 ]

Our Indian Names are Difficult for the Americans or other country people. And How should I correct my name in the Passport.

It is too difficult to Read My Name in The Passport.

I Would like to Change My incorrect Name In the Passport.

Please Suggest Me how to Change It.

I applied for passport on 5th july 2008 vide file no Z 377946 the police verification was completed about one and a halfr month back what is the status of my passport kindly let me know why there is so much delay

i have applied for the passport on[protected] and my reference no: w340703, but when i have seen my staus in the internet i found a mistake in my surname.
Actual name :SRIPAL CHINTANIPPULA but it is noticed as
SRIPAL CHINTANIPPULAQ
The letter 'Q' has to be removed.
Please rectify this mistake.

Hi I am Syed Abdul Farooq, I am actually wondering that there are alot of complaints on this page.However is there really someone who looks after this everyday and wondering that I see not even one complaint been replied by the authority.Unlike other even I have concern and wondering unlike others I am also posting my concern(problem) but wondering that if this would really work out.
Even still with hopes I would like someone to take care.My issue is that unlike others I have applied for my passport on the 19/12/2008 at Nampally Post Office.but till date the police verification also has not been done when I have been checking for the online status of the file no HYDW25808708 it just says File Reference Number (HYD-W[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT availableNow the actual problem for me is that I have recently joined software company policies a person joining the company should have a valid passport or if does not should be applying for it and should sending an e-mail with the file no and the screen shot from the website but when I am checking it says File Reference Number (HYD-W[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT available now what should be done with out me sending the screenshot of the status from the website they are not accepting the file no if I fail to submit the passport my offer is continget which may lead to termination can any one let me know what to do..

i have tried so may times to file online registration but the site is not responding this is happening for the last so many days. what the authorities are doing i dont know. please help me in this matter

I am also trying to apply online and take appointment but it always says 'No Dates are avaialbe, Please contact RPO'. But at RPO everybody says take online appointment. If the site is not giving dates for a long time how one can take online appointment. Infact, I have sent a mail to rpo office but there is no response from RPO. Let me know how to apply for a normal passport ??

It is great to see the arrangements made to collect the passport applications at several centers from several geographical points for the convenience of the applicants.

I went through your website and reached Saifabad traffic police station, opposite to IMAX to submit my application for renewal.

To my surprise there was notice saying only “applications for fresh passport only” (no renewals etc…) will be accepted with “DDs only” (fee not accepted in cash) and the applicant falls in the jurisdiction of Hyderabad city police commissioner only between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM

I went to Khairtabad PO to try my luck but in vain. The first “kind” reply at the desk was that we are not taking the passport applications. When I requested further he had shown his finger towards a cabin with a nasty look into my face. When I met the madam sitting in the cabin, came a polite reply asking me to come at a specific time since their speed post was delivered by 3:30 PM and network connectivity is not working etc.etc.etc……conditions which I could not understand a bit. I looked around the walls and boards to find info for submitting the passport application but to no avail.

She also told me that at GPO they issue some limited tokens for receipt of the applications (she is not aware of working hours). I requested her to help me giving information about Begumpet which she doesn’t have.

Repeated calls at the given contact telephones pollute the environment with continuous ringing sound.

I request you to provide all the necessary information in the website for a hassle free submission at all collection centers.
