i have applied for my passport on last nov 29th., 2008.i am studying in tamil nadu. as the application n is filled by myself i didn't mentioned my college address by mistake. i came to know my fault only when the police verification.then i corrected my address by filling another application mentioning my present address with 2 photographs.i was in hostel for last 2 years and now staying outside the campus for rent.i got a letter before 2 weeks, in which they are asking my address proof for this address..a don't have any address proof here and i sent a letter with my house owner's signature and the copy of my college identity card.(posted 10 days before).this 30 th is the last date for my application and otherwise my application may be canceled.i didn't get any reply for my letter from the authorities.so pls kindly consider my application as soon as possible.

I am Natasha Datta Roy, I have applied for my passport on 1st Dec.08, my file no. is A 089489. My police verification has been on 23rd February'09 at Baranagar Police Station. Till now i have not recieved my passport. The status of my application is all not available in the kolkata police official site and in the official site of passport it shows police verification. Where as the DIB of Baranagar P.S. said that he has sent all the applications back. Kindly, inform me, why i have not received my passport even after 6 months of my application.

I am Ravindra kumar yadav from HOWRAH applied for PASSPORT (FILE NO : A014758/07 ) on dated 23/02/2007. And police verification will come on dated 25/04/2007. after some days, when I did not receive my passport then I go to DIB OFFICE. DIB OFFICER said to me that I sent your report that was good.

I applied for the International Passport in February 2008 with passport no. CAL- H001356/2008. I am resident of Agartala permanently but I was studying in Engineering Arunachal Pradesh upto 2007. So, I gave my college address in the form also along with Agartala Address. The police verification from Tripura Police is over but the Arunachal Pradesh Police has hanged up my verification for more than over a year for some petty negligence. When I called up and inquired there about it they are citing false excuses and pushing me form this office to that.
It's not also possible for me to visit Arunachal time and again. So, can you suggest me what to do.

Hello Sir/Madam,

I applied for my Passport on 2006. My Passport ref Number was : A082784/06
After that I got transfer in Chennai. And I transfered my passport application to Chennai Passport Office.
And my new passport Ref number is : A022806/07.

Now I again got transfer to Kolkata. Till now I didn't get my passport. Police Verification is not yet done.
Please assist me what to do. It's really very Urgent.
Please help me on this.

My daughter Gloria Chakma applied for a International Passport through the G.A. (Political )Department, . Government of Tripura being her application received Number 1522 dated 15.07.2009.She is waiting to have the same early.So you are requested to kindly issue the same as early as possible.Thanking you in anticipation.

Regional Passport Office — Passport not issued for over 9 months

I had applied for a fresh passport for me, my wife and my daughter on[protected]. Though the passport for my wife and daughter were received long back,I still haven't received mine, despite repeated requests.
The online tracking tool shows that "the passport was proposed to be collected from the counter on[protected], If not collected, it'll be dispatched on the next working day". Although a period of 2.5 months has elapsed, I still haven't received it, a period of more than 9 months in total since applied for it. I personally visited the rpo office 2 weeks back but no one gives a deaf ear to the problem and just say "meet this person, meet that person".
PS: My file number is A018144 and key number is [protected].
They also have the face to say that "problem kya hai sir, bana hi nhi hoga" when enquired about the status of the passport, where I haven't been informed of any shortcoming in the application form whatsoever.

What all this has resulted in is I had my own plans for which i needed the passport of my entire family but every such plan has been spoilt because of these careless officials.
