[Resolved]  Reliance Big Tv — Bad support after sale

I have purchased Reliance BIG TV before a month.After purchasing I was told that installation would happen in 48 hours.
But it does not happened in that duration.After that I have called their customer support and regiesterd complaint. During complaint registraion I have been told that in next 2 hours their technical support team will conatct me and will do installation.
But technical team contacted me on next day and done installation.
Really a bad support system.No fullfillment of Commitments.

Reliance Big TV — WRONG BILLING

I, DEEPAK KOTHARI HAVEING RELIANCE BIG TV DTH CARD NO.[protected] SINCE 2008. ON 01/06/2010 DUE TO SOFTWARE PROBLEM MY DTH SERVICES BLOCK. I LOUNCH COMPLAINT AT BIG TV TOLL FREE NO. I.E. [protected] AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPT I ABLE TO CONNECT WITH BIGTV TOLL FREE. MY SERVICE REQUEST NO.WAS[protected]. AFTER 4 DAY ON 04/06/2010 THEY SOLVE MY COMPLAIN.
WHILE LAUNCHING COMPLAINT THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM SO NOTHING WILL CHARGE TO YOU.

BUT ON 05/06/2010 THEY DEBIT RS.175/- FROM MY A/C WHEN I CALL TO CUSTOMERCARE AGAIN THEY LOUNCH NEW COMPLAINT NO.[protected] AND TOLD ME THAT AFTER 2 DAY YOUR COMPLAINT WILL RESOLVE AND THEY BLOCK ALL SERVICES.

SO I REQUEST PLEASE TAKE NEED FULL ACTION AGAINST COMPLAINT.

Reliance Big TV — NO RESOLUTION TIME TO BIG TV NOT WORKING

I HAD LOGGED IN A COMPLAIN FOR THE NOT WORKING OF BIG TV ON FRIDAY AND IT WAS TOLD THAT IT WILL GET RESOLVED WITHIN 02 DAYS ON SATURDAY THE CUSTOMER CARE DOES NOT HAVE ANY AMSWER TO WHEN THE PERSON IS GOING TO ATTEND MY PROBLEM . AS PER THEM WE NEED TO TO KEEP OURSELF JAIN IN THE HOUSE AND WAIT FOR THE PERSON TO ARRIVE. AS PER ME THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN IMMEDIATE CALL FROM THE TECHNICAL TEAM TO INFORM WHAT TIME THE PERSON IS GOING TO ATTEND THE COMPLAINT. SO THAT ONE CAN SCHEDULE ITSELF.

I SPOKE FOR THE SAME ISSUE FOR ONE HOUR AND EVERYBODY HAD ONLY ONE ANSWER THAT IT WILL BE RESOLVED WITH 48 HOURS SO PLEASE KEEP YOURSELF LOCKED IN TILL THAT TIME .

AND IF YOU ASK THEM TO CALL BACK ... OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE YOU ASKED THEM TO DO ...HOW CAN THEY SPEND TO CALL BACK TO YOU RESOLVE YOUR PROBLEM ... Reliance Big TV — No help from Customer Care

Hello there,
I am a football fan and I want to watch the Worldcup match whihc is tarting today. With this intention in mind I decided to buy the sports jumbo package of Releance Big TV. I recahrged my account and tried to buy the package but it was not letting me to do eventhough the account balance was more than required. I got coonnected to Customer Care and the associate to whom I spoke told me that it willbe activated in half an hour. I waited 4 hours still it was not done. Then I called the CC again but a lady told me it will take another day due to technical difficulties. ITS BEEN ALMOST A WEEK NOW NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE YET AND I HAVE SPOKE TO 6 ASSOCIATES AND ONE SUPERVISOR OF THE CC ALREADY BUT NO RESPONSE AND NO ACTION TAKEN ON MY REQUEST. I AM EXTREAMLY DISSATISFIED WITH THEM AND WANT TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM.
What will happen to my football match thogh?

Reliance Big TV — no technical assistance

Hi sir,

I have made a compliant 2 days before in Reliance Big TV cust care, and i dont know the reason why iam not able to see my TV eventhogh i have balance in my account.they r telling it will take 48 hours to take action.they are not able to tell why this much time they r taking? I didnt do any mistake, service automatically disconnected and showing that signal is poor, but by paying the money to them iam only suffering, but thet cant take action immediately. they would have recruit more technical assistants so that our problem will be soved within a short time.

I am a Reliance Big TV user. I have a complaint against the dealer & employee of Reliance Big TV. I bought a Reliance Big TV setup box (1799/- for 4 month subscription of silver pack + Zee Tv) on[protected] by a dealer ( Saurabh electronics, Manik Chowk) in Jhansi, but after installation of big TV it validated only for One month. Then I complaint to Mr.Rajiv (Reliance Big TV in charge of Jhansi) but he didn’t help me & after requesting he recharged my TV by only Rs.150/- for one month instead of silver Pack+ Zee T v. But in the last fourth month he recharged my Tv by only 100/-.So the dealer & Mr.Rajiv didn’t provide me complete facilities of Reliance Big TV of 1799/- for 4 month subscription of silver pack + Zee Tv.
After the enquiry I got the information that dealer has sold me already used smart card from[protected] on the registered name “Ajay Singh” instead of my name as “Mohd Anwar” for registration.
So, I am requesting you that please take any action against them & provide me all the facilities.

Reliance Big TV — Delay in re-installation

I have been using Reliance Big TV since last 6 months. I never had complaint against Big TV. But recently I have relocated to Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and I registered a complaint regarding re-installation of the service at my new address. Even after 15 days and 4 complaints, nobody has come to my home and done the job. One day, an engineer from reliance came, shown his ID and asked for 300/-Rs. in cash for re-installation. On denying his request, he refused to get it done. and then after engineers are mentioning "customer mobile is unavailable" in their complaint closure notes. It has been very painful now. I wish I would have bought tata sky or airtel instead of reliance big tv. Only the name is BIG. :)

Reliance Big TV — recharge voucher not available

I have taken a big tv connection on march 2009 , but the recharge voucher is not availabe and now we are not able to watch tv. So I want to return the setup-box,instruments to the Reliance Big TV com, and am very very frustrated on this company

My services suddenly stopped, it says poor/intermediate signal and they are demanding Rs 170 from me for attending the problem. They are randomly selecting people and switching off their signal and demanding Rs 170 to restart again. Same dish, same wires, same set top box how come signal is lost now?????????

Any organisation if you are active customer, they should first check the problem, if there is any fault then they should cherge for repairing. But here, these guys are asking money upfront. Because they know, there is no problem. As soon as u pay, they will activate again.

I am also Reliance Big TV user by mistake.
I made a recharge of 400 Rs 3 days before but still my TV is not getting activated, I almost called 10-15 times to customer care no proper response even the senior management is not responsible.
I wanted to file a case against them if i will not get my money back.
can some one help me on this How and where to file a case against them, i really wanted to count this so that in future no one will suffer by such lower grade services.
Looks like they are doing fraud they are going to get money but they will not provide services to you. you will lose your money and your time by talking their customer care, they never look like in a mood to support you.

Reliance Big TV — poor service/corruption

I requested relocation of Big TV DTH on July 13, 2010. Today is July 21 and complaint status remains unanswered.

The engineers ask for money to address the complaint. The official rate for relocation is Rs 350, they ask for Rs 300 if i want to get it done or i shall wait forever.

In between these eight days, i have made over 10 calls to their toll-free customer care number asking for update. Their standard reply was that i have to wait. On July 19, finally a 'senior' in the customer assured that someone from the engineering department would call. The call did come and even time was finalised.

I scheduled my off on Wednesday (July 21) hoping to get the DTH installed. The engineer called to say he cannot come and instead gave me his office number. i was made to call at least 10 times on July 21 waiting for response and assured it will be done today. And in the evening I was given a number of assigned engineer, but when i call the number they tell me that i pay them cash and they will imemdiately get it fixed. By the cash they meant that addressing the complaint at their personal level, without the company's knowledge.

The wait continues.

Imagine one has to go without Tv for 8 days and that too without redressal of complaint from a private company that claims to offer the best DTH service. It’s a shame.

Well, given such a poor service attendance record, i would not recommend anyone going in for buying Big Tv.
