[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — Taken Rs 500 and connection not yet started

Hello sir,
This is Harshad V Kashiyani,
I had booked Reliance broadband Internet and the connection has not yet been started, the name of the person who had come to house with the details of the internet connection is Rakesh Tiwari and his mobile no is [protected].when i am calling him he is not picking up the phone, so i got another no., one of his head of the department his name is Yogesh and his mobile no is [protected].the Customer care which is meant for taking complaints and taking action against it, is giving me one tel no of a person called Rafi Sitapuri and his tel no is[protected].he is also not picking up the phone in his office hours, His office timing is from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.Customer care is only taking complaints but not doing any thing against it, they simply say we r just forwarding your complaint to our concerned department they will call u later, thats it and no one is giving a call back.its like 1 1/2 months to 2 months gone but still the connection has not started.Reliance has already withdrawn Rs 500 from my account for installation, money from my account with out starting the connection.Know i only want my money back, i am feed up of the service.i want my money back so please help me sir for solving my problem.

Even same thing happens to me they took Rs.500 1 month back and connection not installed yet, how sick service it is!
hello friend just stop there, forget about Rs500.

forget about broadband, forget about Reliance, this company is .. they will give you long billing details of which you don't even us it.

i am also suffering the same issue
I think Reliance is a company which understands 'Indian Values' (aaj kare so kal kar, kal kare so parso...). To make customers 'Keep Waiting' is the company policy (or stategy). This is how a company grows. I know many people having cheated by the company. But mere dost, posting your complaints in the forum may not solve our problems. We should take our complaints to the consumer forum, court, leading newspapers, tv channels & ministers.
I've had a similar experience with Reliance, as have many others.
The solution lies in doing the following (it worked for me after Reliance not only delayed my installation, but kept asking me to "be at home", and never turning up):
1. Call their head-office in Mumbai, mention names of the people involved
2. Email a complaint to [protected], mention names of the people involved
3. Send an email/letter to the local newspaper, including the numbers you called, people you spoke to/met and email addresses you used.
4. Send proofs of all 3 to your local Reliance office that is supposed to provide you with that connection
You are lucky as the connection has not yet started. Be happy

I would strongly advice people to not even turn their heads when they hear the name Reliance. They swindle money and just provide appalling service in almost all of their products. I am victim of their broadband connection which does not work from day one from which it is installed.

There was gross misselling by its agent in Bangalore called Lohith-[protected]
The technical person of Reliance whose mobile no is [protected](rajendran) is pathetic and does not even know the ABCD of internet

Any of you guys in Bangalore who would want to thrash up both the technical and sales people of Reliance, please reply to this post and we can combine to teach them a lesson.
me planing to take reliance new connection let me see for a month.
i comepletly agree reliance broadband is reallyy worst provider. Got a problem in my modem and those people have not responded even after one week after several requests . Reliance should be banned of providing broadband anymore . They are blot to INDIAN Broadband services providers
Dear service Provider I ma really very sorry say that one of your DSA is not behaving well with the cusotmers & after taking the payment he is saying that I will not provide you the connection we are having very much work load add- 51/1203 DDA FLATS, Kalkaji delhi-110019 India
Director of this DSA is Mr Amit jain I am also an employee of Bharti Airtel I know very well how to handle these cases I want Immidiate action against this DSA either I will escalate the issiue to the higher authorities & If Required I will go to TRAI As well I want Reply from your end with in 24 hours.

I have the same story like you...they have already taken payment from me before one and half month but still not received connection and even no body responding calls even the managers and bosses don't take the calls.May be they are the high profile managers of the great organisation that's why they don't have time to attend their customer calls.I think this is the group of irresponsible people for them there is no customer values and commitment level.
Same issue with me...

Reliance has charged Rs 500 towards new connection... Still I am unable to use internet. Its been more than 40 days.

I Chirag Bhimani having a broadband connection in name of KRISHNA JEWELS sevice user ID[protected].I want to draw your kind attention that i am highly tired of this everyday reliance undisturbed network.Every Week the Intrenet Connection is disconnected, "service people says that cable is stolen from outside as reliance uses fibre in cable so it is very costly" when i do a complain in mumbai call centre its get connected in 4-5 days.But i cannot manage this "Harresment" any more as it get disconnected in every week.I want "Permanent Solution".you can check my records in my a/c that how many times i had complain but all useless.RELIANCE such a big company with"EXCELLENT NAME and FAME" why not solving promblem after so much complains.We are so much used to reliance that we are addicted to it now.

I will be highly Obidged if you kindly look into the matter and give me"Permanent Solution" or i will be forced to switch on to other internet provider very soon, as it hampers my business also.

I want to have some plan for STD rates cutter, so i asked customer care representative about it. I asked him is there any tariff voucher available for night chat plan. He said "yes", as you are old customer of reliance you can easily use our 79 rs pack and have 3lackhs seconds free for one months for RtoR.
so he confirmed me that i can have that recharge on my cell.

after his confirmation i logged in to site and recharged my mobile no [protected], and soon after i get the a confirmation of successful recharge with transaction id[protected].
even after that i did not get any recharge balance on my cell.
so i called up again to customer care, he said no sir we are having technical problem issue so not able to answer, so i said him to transfer my call to your customer care executive senior then he said no sir it is really a technical error problem, after so many trials he finally agreed to transfer my call to customer care senior, but soon after that he said "sir i checked your balance ".i.e. he was lying to me. and he said your recharge of rs 79 is not in your account.
after that i again tried customer care, and he said sir your mobile no is not comfortable with the recharge of Rs. 79.
now tell me how much more misleading your customer care representative will do?????
Now i want my 79 rs back and a action against the misleading customer care representative guys.
