[Resolved]  Reliance Fresh — STAFF MISBEHAVIOUR

I had a very bad experience today at Reliance Fresh, Janak Puri Store. The staff misbehaved with my two little kids and when argued the staff specially the Guard was acting a goonda. The staff has not coutesy ( I think Reliance has forgot to provide its staff the basic etiquettes as how to behave with custormers) . IT WAS REALLY A HORRIFYING AND VERYVERY DISTASTESTEFUL EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH A 7 YEAR OLD...IT IS ONLY BECAUSE OF THESE KIDS WE GO TO THIS STORE AND NOW BY MISBEHAVING WITH THEM THEY HAVE ENSURED THAT WE DO NOT REVISIT THIS USELESS STORE...

CAN SOMEONE FROM RELIANCE FRESH WILL HAVE CURTESY TO CALL ME AND SAY SORRY FOR THE ROUDY BEHAVIOUR OF THEIR STAFF.

Reliance Fresh At Faridabad - 3 Number — misbehavior of guard

Dear Relaince Fresh Owners,

I am very very disappointed about how i was treated in Relaince Fresh store at faridabad.

I had a bag with me. There was no guard at the entry and no one told me that i cant take the bag inside. I shopped around 30 mins. At the time of billing they said that they dont give poly bags. I had to go back through scooty so i said how will i take the items with me without the polybags. the staff there told me to keep some things in the bag.

So in front of me the staff helped me to keep the things in bag.
While exiting.. the guard misbehaved and checked my bag without my concent as it was a lady bag with lady stuff. I asked him to call a lady guard to check the same, but he ignored and keep checking.

My issue:

1. No checking room(Which was missing in relaince fresh - Faridabad)
2. While entry someone should say bag not allowed - there should be guards at the entry only ((Which was missing in relaince fresh - Faridabad))
3. there should be counter where i can leave my bag with mobiles and cards/ cash etc and i should get the recepit and token number. (Which was missing in relaince fresh - Faridabad)
4. There should be a lady staff guard for gals.
5. there should be cameras so that u can check whose defaulting.


I m shopping from Relaince fresh for about 3 years.. and because of guard - Mr. Om Prakash, who is not doing his duty properly i was humilated. Please help me to teach him a lesson.

Reliance Fresh — selling expired goods

I bought grappy fizz from this realiance store located at the shahibaug arear in ahmedabad.
The drink was expired .when i returned back and told them instead of returning it back they started showing their attitude and did not even talk once about exchanging the expired goods..
Moreover the store manager was not present.and no one was taking responsibilty for this.
I would like to bring forth our complaints against the employees of RELIANCE FRESH store in Bangur Avenue, Kolkata. The very premise upon which organised retail is based is the CONSUMER EXPERIENCE which in a way justifies the premium these big companies charge on the products readily available in a kirana shop mostly at a lower price. But I think Reliance Fresh has forgotten this basic principle and had hired goons in their stores who treat people like products placed on their shelves or even worse than that. There has been multiple happenings after which I had been forced to write this passage. The most disturbing one was when recently the male guard on the entrance firstly told my wife that she cannot carry her purse into the store without getting it checked. When my wife said that he cannot check her bag, he called the lady guard, who took out all the stuff on the table and opened up even the lunch box for checking. It was very humiliating and embarrassing for us to be treated like we were some criminals. I understand the importance of security and checks that we should undergo but there is a proper way to do it and not to rogue up somebody like this. Many times I have been refused a product due to lack of change and being cited that we are not responsible if you don't have change. This kind of behavior is uncalled for and makes you wonder about the work culture of Reliance as a whole. They have certainly lost us as their customers forever and we would certainly prefer to visit Food Bazar for our future needs. I hope that the HR department of Reliance better wake up till they have time in their hands otherwise in such a competitive marketplace they would not survive for long.

Reliance Fresh — Unhealthy and Disease-aiding store

I would like to bring to your notice HIGHLY DIRTY AND UNHEALTHY STORE MAINTAINED BY RELIANCE FRESH AT THAKUR COMPLEX KANDIVLI-E.
NOBODY IN THE STAFF IS BOTHERED AND CARES FOR THE CLEANLINESS.
I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY JAUNDICE, TYPHOID, MALARIA, ETC. THANKS TO THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE!
PLEASE SEE TO IT THAT PROPER STANDARDS ARE MAINTAINED AT THE STORE BECOZ THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT WHAT MR. AMBANI OR RIL STANDS FOR.

Services Of Reliance Fresh Palasia Point, Indore — unable to provide change

I would like to lodge complaint against the area manager Ajay Choudhry and the store manager of the reliance fresh store,Palasia point.Other outlets like this one are always unable to provide change in Rs.1,Rs2,Rs.5 and 10 rupees denominations.They misbehave like perverts with the consumers.They try to persuade the customers to buy lemons or extra eclairs or chocolates as they always tend to face paucity of change.Today your management had crossed all limits when they misbehaved with a respectable doctor.I can send you the video which I have recorded at that moment of quandry and quarrel.I have not let this leaked with the media reporters considering the services I HAVE availed at these outlets.If immediate action is not taken then I would be compelled to lodge a complaint at the consumer greivance tribunasl.I hope that concerned authorities look over the matter asap.The quality of vegetables and fruits are stale and rotten.I am quite acquainted with the higher authorities but I am being very polite right now.Do you know the staff does not account for the lemons in the bill when we were forced to buy them instead of change.You can request me to mail you the video which is a true evidence lucidly depicting how your staff misbehaved with customers.my emailID is [protected]@gmail.com

1. I too have experienced the Reliance Fresh counter staff slyly adding an item to the bill. It is very difficult to check the items added in the bill near the counter as its so crowded. When i came back home and had a look at the bill i saw one item added which was not bought by me. So i would advise every one to CHECK THEIR BILL AND ITEMS RIGHT AT THE COUNTER OR YOUA RE LIKELY TO BE DUPED by Relince fresh staff.
2. Offers advertised by Reliance Fresh in news paper, mails and SMS are not honoured. On the 10th of July 2010 it was advertised in a big advertisement in Dainik Bhaskar that Reliance fresh is giving an offer of FREE 1kg Potato and 1 kg onion with Vegetables purchase worth RS 100. I purchased vegetables worth 300. But at the counter they said sorry this offer is not for that store. My time, and effort was wastied going to the store in my car in difficult traffic. Reliance once spoiled their name when they gave faulty mobile connections and people hung the Reliance Mobile phones on the neck of dogs in desperation. Now Relaince fresh is doing the same. Thats why no one buys Petrol from Relaince outlets. RELIANCEhas spoiled its good name and become a very UNDEPENDABLE and SUSPICIOUS Organisation.

we are d resident of jaipur city & are regular customer.we husband & wife are 65 years old.Two days before when we visit your store situated at TaraNagar, jaipur & were checking a corn for purchase in a normal way security guard stopped us to check d corn in a misbehaving manner then we stoped to check but d guard went to d manager MR. RAKESH RATHORE & mr. rathore also talked us in a very insulting way & told us to get out from d store.Because of this behaviour my wife started weeping because it was very shocking to us.I am a retired officer from Indian army & we think that now we should not go to d reliance store again.We told Mr. Rathore not to talk in this language but he did not stopped crying.It was very shocking exeperince to us.we request u to take strict action against both.

Reliance Fresh — Permanent Card Receiving

I have received a call from Reliance Fresh Lado Sarai, regarding to collect my permanent card, but when I reached to your store in the evening they could not find it. Your staff is saying that when we will find it we shall inform you by phone. Now what should be my next step to get my card? Please suggest.
Last week, I purchased fsomething to hisar haryana I had purchased for Rs. 53/- After going home, when I saw bill they charged me for that 130 rupees Immediately I called to the contact number given in the bill but no response. I went to Reliance fresh next s, the executive said that they are helpless. I told that I am not asking for money and I showed him the bill but they refused.. I told him that no response when I called to the number in the bill but all in vain. He asked me to check each thing after stepping out of Reliance and they cant do anything. As they were a big organisation, they think that everyone will fall on their legs. We are purchasing paying money. This is a lesson . I was purchasing in Reliance for more than 2 years and every month I used to purchase for at least two thousand rupees. Hereafter I will never step into Reliance... thanks to reliance for teaching me a lesson

Reliance Fresh — ill treatment and misconduct

The conduct and behavior of the staff is horrible. The staff and manager are not educated and cultured enough. Several packets and goods are found loose and repacking was caught. Behavior with females and teenagers is rude and abusive. They use vulgar language in front of the customer. The staff is often found stealing and eating the products.

My mother had kept the money for the purchase in her bag.
after getting into the shop and after shopping for at least 10 min security came and told her that she has to keep her small handbag outside.
she replied she had kept her money inside it.he replied in a harassing manner don't you have a purse to keep money.
she replied its none o[censored]r business and she continued her shopping after sometime he again came and said the same thing mean tine shopping was about to over and he said he wants to check her bag she said its not possible and she paid the bill worth rs 734 and the security was simply saying she has stolen etc.These words were not cared by the person who was billing our goods.
Unfortunately i was sitting inside my car at the parking lot and she said all these on the way home because we dint had any sort security assistance to park our cars.2 security sits inside the store.

I am an HR professional and my mother is bank employee and sister is employed with a software company.

Its mere unscrupulous behavior of the security people who don't even know to judge or to understand people

its really pathetic reliance i will never ever visit any of our stores even i[censored] give free goods.

because for Indian like us our family is like god and we do how to respect elders

reliance fresh don't even give respect to senior citizens tell us why should we shop again?

It is very sad state of affair that such a big industrial giant is not able to manage its attitude with the customers at Reliance fresh outlets. I am facing a very very poor behaviour from the staff of reliance fresh outlet located at Damoh Naka, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Customers are attended very poorly, behaviour of the staff is very rude, cash voucgers are not given to the customers against the earned points in membership card, customers are not informed about the earned points and even on purchase points are not being added to their cards.

I had done purchases wide my bill no. 0064 dated[protected] from reliance fresh Mohali Phase 5, One item Society Tea was billed but was missing from the pack.
I drove 6kms to Store to point out only to find Misbehaviour from Supervisor Ajay Kumar who said why are you bothered about Rs 76 & refuse to sort out my problem or any checking.

The name "RELIANCE FRESH" belies the experience. A lot needs to be done for your stores to live up to the name, and capture the imagination of customers.

Everyone who ever uses a particular name believes there's something to it and, therefore, uses a given name which is indicative of an attribute, quality, a promise. Similarly, I guess, RELIANCE FRESH indicates, promises reliability and freshness of products and service.

However, there have been numerous lapses, on a daily basis, on the part of the owners and management of RELIANCE FRESH in these matters. This certainly implies that you do not respect or take your customers seriously, and reflects an attitude of "take it or leave it; if you're not satisfied, there are thousands of others who will patronize our stores." This is in spite of the notice of QUALITY ASSURANCE hanging on the walls of every RELIANCE FRESH store.

Furthermore, someone is making a quick fat buck, especially on the fruit for sale at your stores. Your customers and RELIANCE FRESH are definitely losing out on this section especially. I can prove this by buying quality fruit from our ubiquitous hawkers and selling them to RELIANCE FRESH for prices less than what your customers pay for poorer quality fruit, and yet make a profit!

Would RELIANCE FRESH care to look into the need for quality management, products and service at its stores where customers can RELY(ANCE) on the FRESH(NESS).

This would certainly do justice to the name which all could be proud of!
