[Resolved]  Reliance Infocom — Cheating in the name of Caller Tunes

My Reliance Mobile number is [protected] (Life scheme with Life Time Jadhu Pack). There were excess charges deducted from my Mobile account. When I asked the Reliance Operator, she informed me that I selected Caller Tunes on 01 May 2009 and therefore the excess charges were deducted from my Mobile account. I told her that I never selected Caller Tunes and I am the only person using this Mobile Phone. She refused to accept this and refused to cancel the Caller Tune charges. When I went through the Internet, I found that Reliance Infocom is doing the same deductions to several other Customers also. I request the concerned Government Authorities to discipline Reliance Infocom for their unethical Business Practice and return me the excess money deducted. I also request fellow Reliance Infocom Customers to be very alert with is cheating Company and frequently check their balance amount with frequently with *225. You can also Email your complaints to TRAI Email ID "[protected]@trai.gov.in". You may also send Emails to your Regional Nodal officers and Appellate Authority (Please check their addresse/phone/Email in the following Web Site "http://www.trai.gov.in/sp/RELIANCE.pdf")

Again today Reliance has sent me a SMS saying that I have subscribed for Callertunes. I have already sent complaints to Reliance and TRAI. But Reliance continues to deduct money from my account. Is the TRAI is sleeping?

Reliance — unauthorised deduction amount

It is to inform you that the balance amount of Rs:30/- was deducted from mobile no:[protected] without my permission or prior intimation.after consulting the customer care they have informed that this deduction is towards History package amount .Hence it is requested to revert back my amount of RS 30/-

Reliance Infocom — Payments Issue

Dear Sir/Mam,


I was using a postpaid connection from Reliance in haryana.Suddenly i have to move out and i couldnt able to make the payments in time. However i went to the reliance infocom to make payments and found that they have already terminated my number.I have contacted custmer care but they dont have any solutions for it. so i eventually came off as i was not getting any solutions. All i wanted to make the payments full and final so that they can close the matter once and for all. As the reliance webworld people was unable to help me then i returned back. After that the reliance started troubling my parents in haryana . at last when finally i was able to speak to them and discussed my case and said that i will be making the payments before 2nd of dec 09 in any case as this is month end and i am unable to pay now. now they are saying tat we will drag you to the court and make u suffer a lot.

I simly don't understand what todo as when i wanted to pay or i should say when i had the money the refused to take it.and now i dont have it and they threatning me.

RELIANCE INFOCOMM SERVICES — Non-refund of the security money

I took a walky-talky phone with postpaid connection[protected] from Reliance Infocomm Services on 7th Oct, 2005. I deposited Rs 3300. In this money Rs 2000 as security money is included, which I was told to get at the time of surrendering of the phone device. I surrendered the phone device on 18th Feb, 2006. At this time, I was told that I would receive my security money within 3 months.

But still after more than 3 years, I have not received my security money. I have tried many times to contact them. But they did not give any satisfactory reply and did not refund any money. They just postponded the date again and again.

Now, that office has been replaced by a new Reliance Communication office.

Please tell me, what action can I take in this situation.

I have a Relience GSM conncetion and as per TRAI co-oradianate I was activated my DND Service but After 45 days I did recived Many of Promo SMS n Calls from the Operator I also compaint to the Nodal of the Operator but he ignore and said that we are not responsible for SMS our Sales dep is responsible so as per T &C i have to compalint againt the relience so Please do need full

Reliance Infocom & Visa Bill Pay — unfair practice by Reliance infocom and visabill pay

i am registered user of visabillpay.in with email id [protected]@ymail.com, and every month the biller Reliance Infocom sent bill to the said site on my request. where i have found the biller Reliance Infocom and visabillpay togather looting the customer by adopting unfair practice violating set principal of RBI. i have made payment on 24.12.09 vide transaction ID[protected] having due date of bill was 26.12.09, but my biller received payment on 30.12.09 resulting late payment charges imposed by biller.
i just wanted to know when my account debited on 24.12.09 and biller received payment on 30.12.09, who has enjoyed that money for the 6 days and under which authority. whether Visabillpay has not acted on behalf of biller Reliance Infocom to collect bill amount and if bill amount received by Visabillpay on behalf of biller Reliance Infocom well before due date why the biller imposed late payment charges
i think RBI should take such things into account and frame some guidelines to regulate such unfair practice.

Reliance Infocom — charging of Incorrect Rental, on the SMS Plan

I am using Reliance CDMA cell, on December 03, '09, i requested for activation of Reliance SMS pack activation of Rs. 14/- the same was activated on that day, but on January 08,2010, after making due call to Reliance Call Centers i requested for Activation of SMS 1P Pack on my cell, which i subsequently regestered by sending an SMS.

Now rather than disabling my previous pack, my deduction of Re 1/- from my a/c per day. I Don't know whether that is correct but I think thats a damm cheap way of raking money just.

When i made call to your customer care they justified that i would have to request for deactivation,despite me saying that before requesting for activation i made call to your call center based on there confiramtion i activated that pack. As far i know the system is capable o[censored]nderstanding which service to keep and which to deactivate, i think that should how the process should be set up else its all about deducting thecustomers balance

Reliance Infocom — unauthorised deduction

I am Manoj Dubey prepaid consumer of reliance infocom. my reliance prepaid no. is [protected]. on 19th feb 2010 they deducted around 10 Rs from my account for that service(MVDO service) which was not activated my me. i called at *333 & told the customer executive about deduction. he said it is right deduction. i told it was not activated by me but he was not ready to accepted then i asked about deactivating process. he said go to R world & unsubscribed the service. i asked is it possible to unsubscribed through non-multimedia handset ? he said NO.then i asked how is it possible that i can subscribed this service if i am using simple non-multimedia handset(nokia 1600).he was unable to gave clear cut ans.he was neither able accepted their fault nor agree to return my money. it was not happened 1st time with me. so i want to take llegel action against them. my email adress is [protected]@rediffmail.com &my new contect no. is [protected].

Nokia — unauthorised dedection

I have purchased a hand set of Nokia 2323 classic.By just putting sim card an amount of rs.99.00 has been detected from my mobile connecton service provider. I made a lot of mails and complaints but no proper responce has been given to me.
After 6 months they have accepted that it was there system fault.But they are not ready to accept responciblity and refund my money.

I PURCHASED IN SEPTEMBR 2009, A RELIANCE NETCONNECT HIGH SPEED DATA CARD OF RELIANCE INFOCOM LTD FOR Rs.3500/- THROUGH A RESELLER M/S. VRITI INFOCOM CLAIMING TO BE RELIANCE INFOCOM'S AUTHORISED DISTRIBUTOR.

THEY HAD PROMISED A FREE HOLIDAY PACKAGE AGAINST THIS PURCHASE.
BUT IT RAMAINS ONLY A PROMISE AND THIS DISTRIBUTOR NEVER RESPONDS ONCE HE COLLECTS THE PAYMENT FOR THE DATA CARD.

THEY HAD GIVEN THEIR MUMBAI TELEPHONE NUMBER AS[protected] / 40214892 WHICH IS DEFUNCT. THE SALES EXECUTIVE BY NAME MR NITESH NEVER ANSWERS HIS MOBILE NO. [protected] AS ALSO HIS SUPERIOIR MR DINESH (MOB. [protected]).

CAN THE INFOCOM MAJOR M/S. RELIANCE AFFORD TO HAVE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH SUCH UNRELIABLE SALES PARTNERS WHO RESORT TO SUCH CHEATING THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WRONG WAY BE LURING THE CUSTOMERS THROUGH FALSE PROMISES.

Reliance Infocom — activation of callertune services without permission and deduction of money against that unwanted service

Sir,
I am using services of reliance India mobile since 2007,and during this tenure the company activated caller tune services 4-5 times on my number ([protected]) without my permission and deducted money against that unwanted services. Out of above mentioned frequency, 2 times when I contact customer care executive and he told me that no money is deducted from my account and this kind of thing will never happen to me. But on 27/06/2010 at 12:42 AM I received a sms from my service provider that I have subscribed to caller tune services at Rs. 1/2 days, then I contact to the call centre of RIM and asked for clarification but the executive told me that due to some technical up gradation I am unable to tell you exact situation kindly call me after sometime and I did it for four times but the response was same.
Then on 28/06/2010 at 12:30 AM I again receive a sms from the service provider indicating the name of the song downloaded as the caller tune and the amount deducted i.e. Rs. 10 against the song and again on 28/06/2010 at 5:07 AM I received one more sms indicating that "YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CRBT SERVICE HAS BEEN RENEWED AT RS. 30 FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS.”
Then I immediately made a call to the customer care executive for the same purpose. But after having a long and heated altercation, senior executive Mr. Tamal Vishwas told me that according to their system I applied for the services, which was not the case, and he can not do anything, then I asked him to write down my complain and give me the complain number so that I can file a case against the company but he refuses my request by saying that its not under the company's policy to lodge complain in this kind of situation.
Therefore I request you to look into the matter and do justice.

Reliance Infocom / Internet Modem — demanding bill after termination

Sir i baught a reliance mobile modem which i due to unreasonable billing and non performance got terminated after paying full bill amount which all receipts I have
and now they have sent me a court notice claming an amount of Rs. 1510.62/- out standing .i ahve all the documents with me of termination. please suggest me what should I do

Reliance Infocom — Wrong Deduction from Prepaid 9304475128

Please note that our rim prepaid [protected] has become a burden as random deductions are done from prepaid balance for last 5-- 6 months.Don't give excuses as usage of RWorld etc.or it should be proved with evidence. Our other contacts are [protected]@sify.com,& [protected] . Please look into the problem.
Even RCom Feedback site has been made futile by not allowing any entry in "Type of Query", but asking for entry in it whenevever "Submit" button is clicked. Is it another RCom fraud technology!
Now, for Rim Prepaid [protected] wrong balance deduction, I had called *333 for customer care and was told by the call center attendant Sharda that a vas pack Mis Maz has been activated resulting in deductions of Rs. 49/- each time. I was clarified that whenever a Reliance call is made to a prepaid user and any button is pressed by the user, this Mis Maz is activated. The call centre attendant Sharda was not able to even explain services under this Mis Maz. Thus, this is simply a fantastic Reliance Technology to LOOT simple illiterate aged users. Will Reliance ever try to bring some morality in its business Tricks?

Reliance Infocom — Balance

I have a connection of Reliance [protected] and this number there is no extra facility was activiated by me like tasson pack, ring tone, Hellow Tone etc but reliance company has always deducted the amount in my balance. When I contacted the various time the customer care executive they told your are using the facility like tasson pack, some time said you are using ring tone some time said connectivity is not avaible. Inspite of my various effort no satisfactoty answer given by the co. and the behaviour of the Executive is very poor. So I once again request please reverse my amount at the earliest so I can continue the service again.

Reliance — Unauthorised deduction of amount by activation of MVDO services

This is the second time I am panic with reliance GSM provider again, As last monthreliance has called and said they will stop all the facility and promised this will not make it happen again. Not even one has got over they have started deducting amount from the amount balance in the account by activating MVDO services.

I don't browse internet in my mobile, then how can this can happen again repeatedly......

Really dis satisfied with reliance.
