[Resolved]  Reliance Mobile CDMA Prepaid Service (Delhi) — Without my request started "My Tunes" in my phone and started charging money

Respected Sir,

I am a prepaid mobile holder from Reliance India Mobile and my no. is [protected]. I am holding this mobile no. since 2003.

On 25th November 2007, I phoned to Reliance Customer Care to clear my doubts of repeatedly reducing my prepaid balance and then I come to know that my phone number has “My Tunes” facility activated from September 2007, so they are charging Rupees One for each day and every day it is being deducted from my prepaid account balance which I never subscribed for.

I made an argument for the reversal of such amount which they are charging from September for a service which I have not subscribed for. The customer care executive refused to do so and not even accepted to give me the detail by date or anything else that I requested to start such service on my phone.

Neither they logged my complaint on such matter nor given me any complaint number by making excuses that their computer is not working so they are unable to log it on. I have phoned three times but I found every time a new person to convince this matter. I have noted down the time of call and the name of the executive whom I made this request.

Lastly on third time I got the answer that they will not refund the money and I am free to make complaint anywhere.

I recharged my fone with Talktime value 450,The very next day the balacced showed to be nill, I called customer care and they said that it was due to net usage . The net usage happened around 1 month back and they debited my account then ,in between I recharged my account many a times.I know my usage and wonder where my money went.CC says that they dont have any usage information .I requested a lot but all in vain. This is the pathetic customer care service I have ever seen . One lady named Smita even quoted" I will disconnect the call if you ask the same question again" she dint tell her identity and not tell her supervisor name ,all she said is that they are not authorized .Then again I was connected to a sup. named Deepak Sharma and he was more philosophical than of any help . Reliance CC seriously lack soft skills and also the commitment towards customers. I am thinking of dragging them to consumer court and I dont see any alternate.I would suggest all of of you not to use reliance net connect or you would land up in trouble and there is no proof of net usage with anybody. I think reliance is duping customers by doing like this. There is no direct number for escalation nor any redressal forum where a person can vent out his frustration. I too had to pay for many months for "coneection of my tunes" that I'd not subscribed to. Now i want to terminate my Number but I'm told that I have to pay Rs. 500 for termination plus another 250 as balance for this month as I've not used my cell since about 10th of this month, real maddening, specially since I've always admired the Ambanis.

Motorola / Reliance - CDMA Mobile Phone — Service given.

Have bought Moto CDMA phone V3M, the software of the same got craised on very second day.Have gone to replace the software to motorola authoized center at Fort - Mumbai (Cntct person-Rajesh).The software/Board replaced by them is already in the name of Pradeep chohan(Relaince connection) as inform by Reliance web world(Fort / Malad).If i ask clearification on the same from motorola it is been informed to me that this boards are provided by relaince & if i ask for clerification from reliance its been inform to that its the mistake done by motorola service center.
its just going on from last 3 days & Reliance has Disconnected my number from old handset as well and am just made go from reliance to motorola & motorola to reliance.

I have complain for the same issue on friday dtd :25-04-08, regarding service given by moto service center/ relinace web world.
Yet the same thing is going on till date.
We have visited Moto service center at Fort cntct prsn-Rajesh on Saturday to replace the software 2nd time, He had again replace us with a wrong software ie Reliance inform us that the software place by moto service center is not found in record of reliance guys.We were in reliance web world at fort for 4 hrs and no action was taken against it.We wasted whole our Saturday running from moto to reliance with the end result as nothing.
Both companies claim it as each other mistake and make us run from reliance to moto / vise versa.
Hope you guys to take same action against it as we have wasted 6 days behind this.

I am a prepaid customer of reliance mobile(no. [protected]). I got my mobile recharge with a top up of rs 555/- on 19.6.08 and got a confirmation message from 52811 with account recharge of rs. 317.93, while reliance are claiming full talk value on their top up recharges. Later on 22.6.08, when I checked my balance it was only rs. 39.70, while i had made only 8-10 local calls of small duration. My repeated calls to reliance customer care failed and i now do not know what to do . It go gets frustating when hours of your valuable time wastes with no response from customer care.I wish reliance good luck if they can survive with this sort of services or literraly dumping their customers.

I purchased the no. on 03july 2008 and i have completed all the formalities and within no time my cell was working properly but after one day on 4th july 2008 my cell was not responding no incoming and outgoing calls were made from my cell. So i called upon customer care no. and he told me that your all formality papers are not submitted in the Reliance office. Now kindly tell me is it customers fault that the formality papers were not submitted kindly take some necessary action as i am getting very

I am at Rajahmundry / A.P on a rig, Many people are facing similar problem, we get full signal strength but our call is not established, can you give us the reason.
To pin point our position Latitude 16 deg 41 min 02 sec North & longitude 082 deg 26 min & 22 sec East.
Feel either the tower is malfunctioning, we are trying for last 2 months & forced to complain.

This is ********, a client of Reliance Telecom. I bought a data card few months ago and found this is not working for last 10-15 day (aprox). I launched a complaint again it to customer care. The Technical people tried enough to help me over the phone and found them self helpless, so they launched a complaint about my data card, reference number 70279446. Also I have been told, Reliance would contact me within next 24 hrs.

I have not received any single call from Reliance yet. My complaint was fires on 15th of Jun, 2008.

I contacted CC department again to know the status, and they were not able to answer me anything. It seemed to me, the people were sitting there did not have any basic knowledge of:

1. Any technical things related to Data card
2. Any curtsy to talk to a customer

However, these people have enough skills to irritate a normal and patience customer. I found the level one people were not able to help me out. I requested more then 20 times to transfer my call to supervisor. No one did not, they just keep transferring my call to Customer care' level one associate.


Here are the details of the associate I spoke, with date and time;

1. Tried to miss guide. Told the system was dead and then asked for wrong information, which is not event related to the issue or the department.

2. Asked to transfer to supervisor and transfered to another associate, as CC rep was his supervisor
I requested to Nitin more then 20 times to transfer my call to his supervisor, he denied. I have been told, at that time, there was not any supervisor was present in the company on his floor/department. No one took my call. After irritating me enough, he transferred me to customer care executive of calling department. But told me he was transferring me to his supervisor.

Now the person who received my call was :

He also did not transfer my call to any one. I collected some impoetant people's phone number form internet and reached to you some how.

Kindly let me know,
1. If Reliance can fix the problem I have with my Data card
2. If this is your support level and customer service executive. Kindly do not hesitate to tell me. I will just shift my self to another company. This will be a very normal investment for me only of 3-4 K. But I don't want to be irritated like that ever again.

After, sending above mail to Rel people, I received cupoles of calls, telling methat my matter will be solved shortly. After this, i received a mail, which surprised me a lot:

I was planing to escalate the issue, as much as I can and up to the maximum possible limit, but I received a call from Mr. Banerjee the same day. He asked about my problem and I explained him, each & every details. He assured me, Reliance will take care of this and he/Reliance needs to make investigation about the problem/issue. 1. Why my connection was blocked, if I made payment on time?

2. What is the use of this postpaid connection (data card), if after every 15 days, you block, and tell me, my credit limit has exceeded (Rs 500 only). If I take a plan of 1 GB, I am supposed to pay after receiving my monthly bill. Practically, my credit limit should be at least up to my normal billing amount (approx 750/-), which is not. So, what is use of POST PAID?

3. Why your excellent salaried technicians sitting, in AC offices in a very supportive environment, could not find that this is only "block" of my connection and nothing else, which any one can open by just one click?

4. Why your excellent salaried technicians did not make any efforts to look into the problem?

5. Why your excellent salaried technicians did not transfer my call to their supervisor and told me, there was no supervisor in the company, the time I called them?

6. Is it not allowed in Reliance, that a customer can never talk to the supervisor of the floor, if your excellent salaried technicians are not able to solve the smallest issue of the industry?

7. Why your excellent salaried technicians transfered my call to "customer care associate", when I asked more then "twenty time" in HINDI and ENGLISH (I know only two languages) to transfer my call to any -any senior officer present in the company that time?

8. After all this mess, did you really find, why these people behave like that?

9. After all this mess, did you increase my credit limit to at least my "minimum monthly billing amount" i.e. approximate Rs 750.

10. Can you assure my, my connection will not be blocked nest time when I will make payments on time?

Dear Mr. Negoi, if you think, even with all above mentioned question, I should be a very much satisfied customer of Reliance. I am sorry to say, I can not say "yes" to make you happy.

I have a complaint regarding dropping a call to a particular No.

When i am giving a call to this no.[protected]. After every 1 minute or after 1.30 min call is dropped. this problem i am facing from last 2 days.

I own a insurance policy from ING Vysya Life Insurance. Which is 4 and odd years, due to some problem I wanted to surrender that policy and take back the amount. My policy amount 2740 quarterly and per year 10960. Till date they have the amount 52000 including interest with them but if I surrender then will give back 28000 only as per them.

So I said I will continue till the time of maturity.Policy time period is of 15 years and they are saying at the time of maturity they will give me 150000 plus interest. Where as 10960 in 15 years becomes 164400. I have mailed them several times, they are not giving proper response. After soo many mail they said they will send representative at home but this committment is 10 day old thing and still things are in same condition. Please help as it is unfair to not even give back my given amount after 4 years. Even when Iam ready to continue they are not giving any details Whats the use to continue when I will get back my money less than the saving that too after 15 years.

I am a reliance CDMA prepaid customer. Why u people deducting money from our prepaid amount everyday by giving Gandu Services in our cell without intimating US. Why u(Reliance ) r not Honest Indian. Why u r getting (Haram Ki Kamaai). Why u r activating Gandu Alert/Hello Tunes... services in our cell without requesting us. Whenever we called customer care executive why we r unable to deactivate all offers provided by u. some of my friends taken connection with lifetime validity. n u peoples disconnected that connection. Please read carefully ur religious scripture. I suggest all peoples to read Quran or Bhagwat Gita. "jAISA KARAM KAREGA VAISA FAL DEGA BHAGWAN". This applies to all human being whether they r MUSLIM OR HINDU OR ANYBODY. I am not blaiming to all reliance peoples. I[censored] want to earn money then why u r deducting money from our mobile, u say we will send a draft to u. my no is [protected], i am using this no from last few months.From the time of activation every month 30 to 60rs is being deducted from my mobile.when i call to customercare they reply only that u hv activated this or that pack ( i mean they said that u hv subscribed packs when i call two times they said different type of packs, even packs which is tell by them didnot match) which is never subscribed by me. pls solve my problem.

i m a cdma consumer of rel. services.i m a student of agricultural college sabour which is situated in bhagalpur district of BIHAR state.sir, i have to say that many students have kept rel. phone for their personal usage.but there is very poor service due to lacking of rel. tower in sabour.
so, plz sir provide a rel.tower in sabour .becoz bhagalpur has already personal tower but we cant use our phone.and we have to face many difficulties, so plz sir listen our problem.
