[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect — Reliance USB CDMA Modem worst performance

I brought an USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM 10 days before from Reliance Mobile in Brigade Road, Bangalore. This is a post paid connection that came with my HP Pavilion Note, thinking about the mobility and net connection speeds up to 144 kbps I paid Rs.3180 for this pathetic internet connection.

The average connection speed I get is less than 15 kbps. Worst case is some times I get connection speed less than 5kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of google.com fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the internet connection. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.

The tower signal shows as full strength but the connection speed is very slow this is because reliance does not offer its customers what its promise. Reliance is company that can’t be trusted. The BSNL Dial-Up connection that I have is far better than the high speed USB modem from Reliance.

To check the internet connection further I even took my note book where there was a reliance tower. It did not make any difference.

Reliance Technical Support is worst. So, I think Anil Ambani should be held responsible for all these.

My advice is, don’t buy Reliance USB modem.

Reliance Mobile — bill latancy

Dear sir

I want to my mob bill in itemized on my mail of last two month and i have given to the request to costumer care two time but still i am not received the my bills.

My request no is 76758105 on 26th September.
2nd request no is 76869392 on 28th September.

Plz do the needful for me.

Reliance USB modem is worst and like a garbage in my lapy bag, when ever i use it I got irritated and the first thought that i got in my mind is to crush it. It is very slow and its download speed is only around 1 or 2 kb.
I hope you guys know that KBps is Kilobytes per sec and kbps is kilobits per sec. If you dont go search online. Reliance Netconnet is similar to dial up connection (may be slightly better since it can go upto 114kbps) but available on the move and nothing more (not broadband). If you have a good/robust reliance cdma network in your area then only opt for this or any wireless cdma/gsm data card. To avoid billing problems take unlimited plans else you are going pay a tidy sum and have billing woes (applies to all service providers). So better use some brains and take a informed decision before taking the plunge & then crib.

Simple solution is never ever deal with reliance if you want to live happy life. Here is why you should not deal with reliance :
1. Reliance don't know what is so called customer care
2. They don't have sufficient technical staff
3. They don't have anything which is proven in wireless.. whoever bought their service, they will always advice not to go with reliance
4. As per my googling data, you won't find a single review on net which will be in favor of reliance service
5. Their products are fool in themselves... the mobile i was using showing me full strenght of signals, still i was not making call from mobile
6. Reliance doesn't listen to customers
7. Reliance only know how to sell their fool device to fool people
I brought CDMA DATA MODEM MG880 - CDMA 1X MODEM from Reliance authorised dealer in Daman few months ago and the dealer had informed that the modem is running at around full speed as printed on box i.e. about 153.6 kbps as printed on the box of CDAM, they have given two months free than after on billing under plan of 650 Rs. but it shows under notification are “CDMA 1X connected at speed 28.8 kbps”. i have complained few times, customer care given response but never solved my problem.

The tower signal shows as three to two but they have sold for good speed, but always failed.

Some my friends have advised me to approach CONSUMER FOREM (GRAHAK SURAKSH) as they have not provide service as offer or connection speed written on the packing box.

I can not understand what i do.
Hi have brought reliance net connect and at that time they have told me that you will be getting internet speed of 144 kbps and its been now six months that i am using this usb modem and the speed never cross 1 kbps.

Please please please, DO NOT BUY RELAINCE PRODUCTS.

I am lucky I did not go ahead with buying one, but my Customer care experience is worth mentioning. I enquired for details through sms-NC- to 55454. Almost three days later a Sales Person Mr. Pawar called up, talking hi-fi talks about the connection speed, low rates, and that I can give you lesser than the rate which you are getting from the Reliance Showroom. He gave me paper requirements, took my address (Twice), and confirmed a time to come so that he could give me a demo and collect the papers and payment for registration.

I waited patiently for 2 days ! Yes 2 Days, no callback, or even a courtesy call from Mr. Pawar. Then after 2 days I got his "Missed Call"..(Possibly they want to save money even on calling their customers}. When I called him back I got no response. Again I called him, no response. Then AT his own whims and fancy he called me, saying he was not in town (As if he has done a favour on me!), and he has now come but since there is load shedding, can I call him when I am free and have Power connection for him to come and give demo? I agreed, and called him as soon as there was a Power restored at our place. No-reply...I waited for 3 hours, but got no reply. Then sent sms conveying my annoyance at his behaviour. Then he calls me saying Why did I not call him when power came?..(As if I am working for him!). When told I had called and could he please check his call records to see if my number is there in missed call, then he changed his troy saying sorry I was in meeting. When asked why he could not check who had called especially when I have been in contact with him for 4 days, he should have recorded my number, he has the cheek to say ---"I get so many calls, how can I keep a check"? ...etc...(Is he doing me a favour by attending to my call, if you are not interested in business then just forget it)

I don't understand why the hell does Reliance call us or even give this sms service to enquire if your people dont' the time to attend to your customer service? To top it all, when I told him of my annoyance and his behaviour, and that he could have sent someone else or even given a courtesy call, and if this is the way they are giving service, then I rather take the connection from someone else, he very rudely says "OK. No problem..." . This is the worst level of lethargy and irresponsibility I have experienced from any sales person.

Is this the way Reliance expects to get business?

This is a big slap on the face of the customer, and worse still detrimental to the business of Reliance.

But at least I am happy that I did not go ahead with buying the connection.

I brought an USB ZTE CDMA MG 880 1X MODEM from Reliance Mobile 5 days before from Reliance Mobile thr online. This is a post paid connection and they said that the net connection speeds up from 40 kbps To 144 kbps I paid Rs.2374 for this useless and junk internet connection.

I got the second hand instrument, which is already used, they simply changed the data and changed to my name.

The average connection speed I get is less than 20 kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of Reliance fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the performance by disabling other modems installed, but no use. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.

The speed depends upon the network availability & varies as per area. Even then you won’t get good speed. Mail gets diconnected all the time.

It can be used only during early morning and sometime during noon. All the rest of time it will show connected but we cannot do any thing.

as much as 2 to 3 kbps. The connection disappears every minute and the modem is practically useless even for mail, wat to do ??
Connection is slow. Pathetically slow.
A Basic page like Google takes 25 seconds to load.

Reliance Netconnect — NO ATTENDANCE TO COMPLAINTS

we have been complaining for the last 3 months, but no one has attended...please heed to our complint as we have never been defaulters and have been paying the rent
I have taken reliance USB modem same model meintioned in above complaints.First they said it will be activated in 24 hrs but nothing happened as the reason was negative verification.Then after activation, when i started using services its was so pathetic that even a dial up internet connection is much better.Then again it got deactivated coz of negative verification.This time the reason was ...the person who came for verification felt my PAN card is fake. I called customer care continiously and got answers like "we cant help it...contact your nearest reliance world".When i go there no seems to be bothered.Mr Amit Harpaal the store manager assured that it will start working in 1 day now is not answering the calls.And the staff there is not cooperative.
Its been more than 10 days now i have this useless modem with me of 3000 rs which i paid .Customer care people dont take any initiative. It has become like any other goverment offices .These things are not expected atleast from relaince.Plz do not buy any such thigs from them.
I bought a datacard from relaiance and it was 2800/- then i got a unlimited usage offer as starter and i paid 650 for two months after two months i wanted to change my plan to lower price so i requested my provider he said o.k. but then the third month i got low bill and from fourth month headache started bill was again 740 something then i came to know my plan was not changed i got calls for my payment then i said the whole story ...fact is they dont listen at all and they wanted me to pay i said disconnect my connection she said ok urs will be terminated and no longer can be used.i said ok fine now the fifth month they come and say thati have to pay a sum of 1700/- real thiefs i said i will not pay for ur side mistake ...Dont go for relaince datacard its very slow the people are really mad and money minded ...

I booked datacard online thru credit card and the money was deducted and i got no bill from Reliance (www.reliance-datacard.com) and again i got a call later (bangalore), i submitted all documents and even then i didnt get the connects, if i ask the concern.. they say they are not going to give the connection for the batchlors, even though i told my spouse is working some other place. They asked me to change to someother's name.. still i did that, no use. they need even more and more doucments. this process was taken nearly 20days. I asked Customer Care, and i mailed them no response. There was no response. I suggest people to not to go for a Reliance product knowingly, as all o[censored]s know even the Petrol Bunks were also closed due to lack of maintenance. Even still i didnt get any solution yet.

i had bought a usb modem [protected] in the first week of october 08, your executive have visited twice at my home and collected my documents for verification. I am using it for last two month as it was in the scheme of two month unlimited free.
Now when i apply for a new plan your office says this number is not in my name. The question is in a such setuation of terriest ativities in our country a person using your internet with other name for last two month. I am working with India Today Group should i go to my aj tak or publications for this matter or is there any way.
