Reliance Netconnect — Harassment

I have used Reliance Net-connect internet data-card under scheme name "HSD_Data" till 2011 end.

For periods September to December, there was seriously bad network signal, due to which I was unable to use the service properly. I also did call customer care number [protected] likely more than 10-20 times for service request/ connection issues, I did not get any good service and of no use then. I also requested the customer care people, who called me back to wave-off the bill over that period as I was not able to use the service due to lack of signal. Though Reliance did not do anything to provide me any better service, above it the company billed me during the period where in those months I was probably able to connect only 10% of time.

Now after 2 years, I get a call from some hell-hole lawyer from Delhi saying I have to pay bill in next 30 minutes or there will be police arriving me to arrest me.

Is this a joke. Hell No, if all of a sudden you do not get any contact and suddenly some lawyer calls you and threatens you to be arrested!

I understand lawyers do not do anything unless the company directs them to do whatever. But, never did any person from the company called me for this issue. No local personnel ever tried to contact me over mail or phone (none changed since beginning). And today they make this lawyer call me and threaten my wife (who picked up the call) that I will be arrested if I did not come to court the next day. My question to Reliance - Do you think people are so jobless to do what ever you want them to do. Firstly, you do not provide timely service, leave aside any good service. Later, these kind of stupid things. Do they think that customers are pigs or dogs to play around. We, the customers, ask for service and have right to deny payments on bad service or lack of service.

I want to ask company to show proofs of having contacted me on phone or mail or any written medium, to sort the issue which went through two months. No customer would ever want to keep paying bills though he is not getting service.

This is harassment.

I will not make payment till Reliance gives clear explanation for those many days that I had no signal/network and I faced issues.

What authority does Reliance or its lawyers has to send police to arrest customers from home to pay some 2000 rupees bill.

Reliance — Harassment by Police

I hava areliance postpaid landline connction. The phone was faulty and not working properly for about 06 months and many complaints to customer care department doesn't solve the problem.

As the problem is not rectified I stopped paying the bill.

Yesterday I got call from district police about having a ex-party warrent against me for non-payment of bill for Rs. 1352/-

I called up the reliance lawyer (number provided by the police officer) and he agreed to withdraw the case and send me the relevant paper if I pay up the due.

But after paying up Rs. 1355/- he is not responding.

IF ANY BODY IS INTERESTED TO BUY NEW CONN.n THEY R NOT GETTING CLEAR INFORMATION ABOUT THAT PRODUCT.SO PLEASE GIVE TRANSPARANCY IN MARKET.
How did you pay the amount. Did you get the receipt. If you paid cash, without any receipt nothing's gonna work out. If you paid by a cheque or DD and have a receipt, go to any reliance office and shout at them. Only them they might be of some help.

And don;t need to worry about any warrant calls or anything like that. Just avoid them for some time and they will put your case in default and you wont;t have to pay anything. moreover if you will need the connection again, you might get it after some time.

These companies don;t do something that big unless it is a hefty amount. So calm and get a new connection. Dont worry about it. If reliance calls, show them the receipt or any transaction if you have. Else forget it.

Reliance Netconnect — NO Services provided yet billed

Dear Sir,

Since January 13th 2012, we were not getting the services of the broadband and the landline due to some issues regarding the shifting of some machine of the Reliance company , according to their local area manager. He had said at that time that the services will be resumed within 2 days and even after about 15 days, there was no service being provided to us. On asking the same area manager, he said that due to some technical issues they will not be providing the connection. Within one week from January 13, they had taken away the cables and the machines and left our connection due, since then. He only advised us to take some other connection. Since then till date we are not getting any services from the reliance.Still we received the bill for the month of January and even the month of February with some penalty. If we have not been provided any services what are they charging us for??

I have not got good signal for 2 months Sep through Nov of 2011. During that time I did call customer care number a lot many times. Many a times no response and when I get some person from customer care, they were of no help. I also requested to wave away the bill for that period where I had seriously faced inconvenience. I was informed on phone by few guys who called me around Nov/Dec-2011 that they will try to give concession of some sort, but I have to pay bill. After that no one contacted me and being fed-up I too stopped using my connection, which was terminated due to lack of payment for that period. If I had such service providing company I would at least take care to ask for a feedback from customer who has just abandoned his connection.

Suddenly out of now where, I get call yesterday from a lawyer in Delhi saying I have to make payment or police will come in 30 mins to my home and arrest me. Do I look like a dog or a that police would come like municipality dog catchers and rope me.

This is just not the way a company should behave with any customer. I would not like to comment on how much you guys pay to stupid actors for advertising, but it does not mean that you behave anyway rude with customer who is not satisfied with your service.

Firstly, stop selling your stuff like tomatoes on street. If at all you manage to grab hold of poor customers, be firm in providing minimum service. If a customer wants to stop a service it has to be his/her decision if there is no good service provided or if the service is not acceptable. You cannot just bill the accounts of customer who have stayed back from making payments due to inconvenience from your service. And it is seriously wrong - legally or any human way - to allocate a lawyer without having contacted the customer, though you have contact numbers, email ids, house address. Instead of spending on lawyers, try improve the service you provide by hiring better customer support.

I am completely pissed off with this issue.

This is going over my head.

Firstly, as you mentioned in your earlier response, I have not received any such telephonic from your customer service associate. This is just a false acclamation by you people.

Secondly, and more seriously, I have received another call today from some person (saying himself as a police personnel) who warned me if I do not pay 2000 today I will have to face non-bailable warrant and pay 20, 000 INR. And over that, he was using abusive language. He mentioned the same data-card number which I have mentioned earlier in this forum.

If I get another such call, I will put a mental harassment case on Reliance communications. And this is not a warning, I guarantee I will raise court on this matter.

Firstly you do not give good service and then you harass your customer. You should not do business if this is the way you do your business.

This is going more and more insane now

I still get calls from some one saying he is a lawyer from Delhi going ahead with summon into Delhi court.

I don't care who it is - I don't care what ever you would do.

I AM READY TO GO TAKE THIS HEAD ON NOW.

I am planning to put a police complaint on Reliance and the particular Legal agency which is handling the case.

FALSE CLAIMS, NO SERVICE AND THEN HARASSING YOUR CUSTOMER... RELIANCE YOU SUCK
