[Resolved] Reliance Petroleum — Volume of petrol given to the consumer is doubted to be less than metered. | |||
Dear Sir, On January 1, 2011, my family had to fill petrol from the Reliance petrol pump at Onnamkutti, KP road, near Kayamkulam. we had asked the personnel to fill the car tank with Rs. 1000, worth of petrol. When the mark reached about Rs. 800, we could hear no sound of the petrol falling into the car tank and earlier than that too. When pointed out to the personnel they point blankly refused to listen to the complaint. We already had 4 liters of petrol in the tank. Kindly tell us how do we proceed with the complaint? Which are the authorities who should be notified about the doubt we have as well as about the way the digital meter is set for the pouring of the petrol and how do we know if that is not manipulated? I have a strong doubt about us being cheated of the petrol we pay for. The irony is that the poor consumers have to pay for the fuel enormously and then get cheated of the petrol he pays for. Kindly take this matter seriously and let me know about the details I can know about the petrol supply to the consumers. Thanking you. Reliance Petroleum — delay on delivery of petrol
The staff petrol pump of Reliance located on the National Highway no 15 on the Suratgarh Ganganagar Road take their own sweet time to attend to customers. There is also no functional free air machine there. When asked for the complaint book, none was available, also no supervisor was present.
