[Resolved]  Royal Cruiser Konnect-Kolkata ( Kaushik Global Logistics Limited) — Worst services in Volvo bus- No concern for passenger complaint

Worst services of Volvo buses run by ROYAL CRUISER -Konnect in Kokata giving genuine passegers horrified experiences.The buses are run under JnNURM of WBSTC and passengers are charged heavily but the buses have no fixed stops on the route to airport . Driver freely takes pasengers from anywhere without issuing proper tickets and delaying the service to the airport causing uncertainity when the bus will reach the airport. Some driver and conductors misbehave with genuine passengers who raises objection to the way the buses are run and even encourages other wayside passengers to silence the voice of the complainant . The new model and good looking volvo buses through attractive , the low-paid driver and conductors are no better than the most ordinary old buses of the city. If complaint is lodged with the Company , they will only give lip service and show no concern for passengers inconveninces. My bad experience with one of the bus running from Santragachi to airport reported to the Company and its MD, Shri Dhanunjoy Singh but in spite of assurances , no firm action was taken against bus staff who abused me , may be because the Company enjoy clout with the Transport Agency. SO FLIGHT PASSENGERS BEWARE OF VOLVO SERVICES OF ROYAL CRUISER, YOU MAY MISS THE FLIGHTS AND GET ABUSED AS WELL, IF YOU RAISE ALARM.

Misbehaved conductors. For past 6 months I am availing the bus of route Airport to Tollygunge. The fare of my route was Rs 40. Suddenly one day the conductor charged Rs 50 from me. Even from other passengers he cahrged Rs 10 more. On the bus itself I dialed the helpline number. To my astonishment I found that the person on the other side was supporting the conductor (so called bus attendants). My question is for past 6 months the conductor is taking Rs 40, then how come the other conductor asked me for Rs 50, and that also supported by the helpline person.
The problem in Kolkata is most of the public services are conducted by illiterate people and people from such backgrounds which are not gentle at all. Every thing is dominated by political unions. Royal Cruiser Konnect is another example of that. Few worthless people are running the show and it is my intimation to all the passengers that the airport connect service is not reliable at all. They don't have any proper schedule to run the services neither they are dedicated for passenger comfort.
I fully agree with Mr. Mantu Sen about the misbehaviour of the staff of this Bus service. An advaanced mode of transport is handled by most unprofessional peoples.I have my own doubt how long this company will be in the market, If they do not rectify themselves now then very soon they will go to the books of the history. I suggest that they should higher right person by paying right pay because there is a saying in the management if you spread pea nuts then yoou will only attract only monkeys.
I am very frequent from Silver spring/ Bartaman office to Airport. So far I was paying Rs. 30 but yesterday(10.06.2011 boarded the bus at about 7.20 PM) the conductor demanded Rs. 40 and when I told him that till date I am paying Rs. 30 he told me that it is because I may not have told the earlier conductor about my destination rightly.Luckly I had one ticket of my previous journey ( T NO.- 014119) then after lot of argument he issued the Ticket to me ( complain was that of a patient party board the bus from Apollo Hospital.After so much humiliation I decided to get down near Haldiram.When I was getting down at the Haldiram the supervisor in the threatend me that he will not allow me in their bus in future.
Thereafter I had tried for their organisational T. NO.[protected]/16 but there was no response.Now I have decided not to travel in these buses from now onwards.
I really feal pitty for their helplessness of the management to control such staff. As a HR professional I can only pray for this organisation . I also came to the conclusion from the comments of the other comuters that no action will be taken but they should keep our comments on record so that in future when they will do brainstorming to know their failure it will be of great help to them. Today I faced a psycho conductor(of V1 Bus travelling from Tollygunje to Airport) who had a collection of torn notes and giving these out to women passengers only in return of their fares.I had given a 100 rupees note for 30 rupees fare and in return he gave me a 50 rupees note and 2 torn 10 rupees note.When I declined to accept the money he told that later on he will exchange them.But later at science city when I tld him to exchange the note he declined and told that he will not give me the proper notes.He did the same with other women passengers.I managed to find out Rs 30 and took 100 rs back from him but other women passengers who did not have change had to get down from the bus with the torn notes.Looks like V1 bus has started a side business of dealing with torn notes and the conductor was getting a good share of each torn note he was able to dispose off.Passengers be AWARE!!!- Swatilekha Ghosh
I stay at Tollygunge & frequently use the Volvo service. We have been posting our grievances but where is the reply from the Authority.
I also want to know the details of all the routes & its first & last bus timings.
