[Resolved] Rpo Bangalore — delay in passport | |||
I Jitendra kumar had applied for my passport on 14/07/10 [File no:BNGW18398510;DOB:29/03/87] for which police verification had also been done on 08/09/10 & the required documents had been dispatched from the COB office on 05/10/10.Yet i've not recieved my passport & also i'm not able to check my passport status online as it says the entered file no. does not exist in their database.when enquired about the thing in call centre,they say that the rpo-bangalore has not recieved the documents from the COB OFFICE.Whereas,it had been dispatched on 05/10/10.itself. I had applied for Bifurcation of my name in my passport.I was told in the passport office that i will receive my passport with in 15 days and there will not be any police verification. but now when i am checking the status, its showing that police verification is pending. I have also checked in the police station they have also not recivied any details regarding my passport. please let me know when Will i get my passport.

I had submitted my passport application form on 13/11/2009 and the police verification was also done by december but the status which was green previously is now Red and it says that "Your Police Verification report has been received by us, and your file is in line for further processing."
and it says that any corrections send us mail & i send no corrections to that mail address. Please let me know what is the actual status of my file and when my passport will be issued ?

Dear sir,
i have applied for passport on 04/02/2010, my Police Verification on Mangalore(permanent address) was done on 9th of same month. After that it took 40 days to reach RPO bangalore. One more police Verification that's at bangalore is not yet over, i visit police station everyday and i get same response saying we have not received your form from RPO bangalore. i inquired at the inquiry counter twice and they say it will be moved within 10 days. I met a local broker who said he will move my form to police station the next day and he cheated me for 400 rupees, I called to RPO inquiry numbers everyday and currency gets deducted still no help, when i mail it re-ponds saying cannot send to this address, sir your help will be of grateful and i will be honored.

I have applied for passport on 4/01/2010 and webiste status shows as " police verification received".
No idea why it is taking such a long time, as i work in shift cannot get up by 6Am and travell to Passport office to get the Tocken and enquire, telephone numbers does not work as it wont connect and even if it connects there is a hold time untill you disconnect the call, Automatic number from BSNL to verify passport also is not working, god knows how to know the status, i dont mind travelling from yelahanka to Koramangala Passport office, i have traveleed twice once at 9am and once at 10 AM, both the occasion i was told no tocken avialble to enquire and the police person asked me to come as early as possbile, he meant 6 am or 6:30am to stand in the queue and get tocken, this is really causing lot of inconvenience as i work in shifts and as any other Government office even passport office procedure is complete mess

At least passport officers should update the status regularly on the website, if any information required they should let the candidate know, its not acceptable to keep the status on website same for 3 months and also it is not acceptable that some one should get up by 6am just to enquire about the status.
Guess this is the fate of entire India and Indian Government sectors.
i have got know issues to wait for the passport provided i get to know why it is taking time, but even to find out why it is taking time you have struggel, website not working, telphone not working, passport office closes by 12:30PM so even if you reach by 9 Am you should be lucky to get the the tocken.
this is really not acceptable as people are willing to wait in the queue but no body provides tocken even at 9AM, so whats the fate of people who stay far away and works in night shift like me, i stay in yelehanka and i come home by 1AM in the midnight.

i here khalid salauddin mansoor submitted my old passport no z015542 for renewal and my file no I000846 date 18/08/2010 .
si i have visited rpo on 25/10/2010 psk enquiry but they told me to come after two week so again visited to rpo at psk enquiry om 10/11/2010 and they send me to room no 14 for further enquiry and they given report that your updated in nic old system please visit to again psk enquiry .
sir i visited to psk enquiry they promise to send my passport within a week but totally four month finished still no rsponse from rpo i faxed five and request to passport officer my problem and even their is no telephone link and iam now un employ suffering financialy problem i submit my passport be fore 3month because abroad agency given insruction validity of passport must be above one year .
i request you to contact passport officer and discus regarding matter kindly.

after two weeks we checked the web still the message is "Your PV was not recived" From TR nagar to RPO only 8 KM.so how long it will take to reach the RPO.
