[Resolved] Safexpress — Delay in Delivery- consignment book through AIR
We had arranged one consignment from "Palwal- Hariyana" to "Trivandrum" by AIR through SAFEXPRESS. The booking was done vide waybill no. 25899360 on[protected]. Agreed by the Palwal office of SAFEXPRESS that the consignment will be deliverd within 24 hours, accordingly the bill was raised for Rs.3000/- Ccopy received from the booking person attached here with and the corrected copy also after delivery.
After soo many followups we had received the consignment on[protected] by 01.50pm at our office. At that time we had called their Delhi office and reported that consignment delivery by AIR is delayed like this, bill amount had been recivsed etc., One Mr.Atul (atul.[protected]@safexpress.com) had said one simple SORRY and told that " if you want to take delivery just pay and take else we will return the consignment", Such a irresponsible person sitting as TOP Official at SAFEXPRESS.
Since the Material was URGENT , we had taken the delivery by mentioning in the return way bill "with protest" taking delivery. For the DELAY of supply to our client, they had charged us Rs.25000/- as penalty. So inorder to avoid further penalty and delay we were forced to take the consginment.
I would request you all not to deal with SAFEXPRESS for URGENT delivery of Consignment.
I would request FORUM to take up the matter and let SAFEXPRESS reimburse the charges they had taken to deliver.
