[Resolved]  Sahakari Bhandar — LOYALTY CARD POINTS ADDITION

I had a disappointing experience at SAHAKARI BHANDAR ( Borivili West, LIC Colony ). I had shopped goods worth Rs. 360. Being a LOYALTY CARD holder, even after submitting the card "at the time of billing", for some reasons my card number didnt come up on the bill.

I spoke to the cashier who asked me to retain the bill so that the month end discounts can be availed. When I showed this to the MANAGER ( Mr. Bhalerao ) he began accussing me of my mistake of not showing the card at the time of billing & hence this situation arised. I then supported my topic by showing my payment of my HDFC DEBIT CARD approval slip that showed the time & amount which "MATCHED" exactly with the bill time & amount. Yet Mr. Bhalerao told me that my points cannot get considered to be added because I am responsible for not displaying my LOTALTY CARD at the time of billing.

Kindly advise me on what can we do to ensure that this gets resolved. Also, I am sure there would be many such customers in my situations facing this experience. Thanks ..

I have a similar complaint. I dont have loyalty card but I I am almost everyday at Shakari Bhandar and I must be spending at least Rs.10, 000/- a month. I never cared to collect loyalty points or free gifts.

Yesterday when I was there at Shakari Bhandar in Colaba Post Office, I saw on the board, spend Rs.1250/- and collect free gifts. The gifts look very good. I asked the Manager, how come I never received any gift when I had spent Rs.1650.- just two days back. On that he said its my duty to ask for the gift, they dont inform. And if I want the gift I should get the bill to claim the gift.

I usually throw all my bills, luckily I had kept the credit card slip which had full address of Shakhari Bhandar and my name, date and the amount. But the Manager Mr.More refused to give me the gift. Than I realised these people just take away the gift which we are supposed to get to their home.

I wish I could compalin to higher authority of Shakharo Bhandar.
no a single email address of shahakari bhandar. why????????

when sahakari bhandar was without tie up of relliance it was functioning better. now it is totally gone.all imp medicines stock not available. all groceries not available. bad bad service
I have always received my gifts on time... & never had a problem with points.
The sahakari bhandar working crew is very helpful.(bot regal & post-office branch)
You just have to be careful with you bills. They will never deny you something valid.
Most elders are absent-minded & senile & end up blaming sahakari bhandar for it.

dear Sir/ madam,
i would like to lodge a complaint against yr vile parle Sahakari store supervisor Mr.Ajay
not only is this individual very obstrusive when i come to buy my groceries at Sahakari Bhandar but also the last couple of times he has refused to let me redeem my points.
On 11th May 2012 at 13:04 # 0095 i paid Rs.1019/
On 21st April 2012 at 19:33 # 0186 i paid Rs.916/

this individual told me that the printer was not working and there was some internal problem and he wrote down my card number and yet when i visited the vile parle store situated at Vaikunthlal Mehta centre. He again pretended and did not let me redeem my points and he told me that they keep a balance of 25 points
i was extremely surprised to see such behaviour from your staff.
Considering that this keeping back points in yr system is quite unheard of. I would like to bring this to the attention of the management as i feel there are several malpractices happening at your store.
Needless to add that if i do not get an answer to this email you will lose the patronage of a valuable client.

I am a loyalty Card member, and my number is [protected] at your Borivali West outlet.

Today, (19th Feb, 2013) i received an SMS on my cell phone that 343 points have been redeemed by me and the balance points are 26. I have not redeemed any points recently. The last time I did was atleast about 9 to 10 months ago and soon after that I had received an SMS confirming the redemption.

The card I hold is a duplicate one, as I lost the original. The present card was issued to me about 2 years ago after a payment of Rs.200/-

I am surprised receiving an SMS today and would request you to recheck and restore my full points.

Incidentally, the Tel number given in the card is not active any more as per the recorded message I get on dialling.
