I had purchased Samsung W299 and i started facing problems the next day i purchased it.. I have given it to samsung service center a number of time but the problem is still there... They told they will replace the motherboard but they are not doing it by telling that the part is not in stock.

I dont know if its going to help posting here. But there seems to be no way out for me now. After going n number of times to the stupid service centres where they dont even know the model number of the phone forget abt reapairing the same.

I bought SCH W 299 in June 2009 and since then its a headache till now. I am just not able to sync it with my pc. I went to service station but they are not able to fix it up... dont know aht to do with this piece of s**t.

It was supposed to be a high end model but it turns out completely dud made by some dull headed people at samsung and now they are not even bothered abt the plight of the consumer. Imagine you cant use handsfree when your phone is charging... pathetic.

Is there anyway a case can be registered against them so that we can atleast get our money back ???? Any comments from the site or aggrieved consumer please.

SAMSUNG DUOS TOUCH SCH W299 Mobile Defects
1) If you want to receive any file via bluetooth, it receives and saves in to phone memory. and
2) You cant move files from phone memory to memory card without using computer.
3) So you cant receive more files via bluetooth as your phone memory is less.


My suggestion is please DONT BUY SAMSUNG DUOS TOUCH SCH W299 Mobile phone

when i download a video song (MPEG-4) it was downloaded but it can't play.

what can i do.

I Purchased Samsung W299 N Thinks That It Is Only Good If You Want To Replace Two Mobiles With One But Execpt This It Has Not Any Good Feature In It Its Mediaplayer Not Plays In Background It Has Not Any Auto Keylock Its Mediaplayer's Volume Is Too Low We Cannot Dial Its Numbers By Touch Screen Its Processing Speed Is As Slow As I Have Seen In And No Comparison In Slow Speed As Too Much Mobiles Till Now Its Software Version Is As Worst As I Seen Till Now. We Can Say Its Software Is As Worst Than China Mobiles Also. So My Request Is To Company Is. Either The Company Find The Solution For The Problem Or Swap The Mobile With A Comparative Mobile

i Purchased w299 i have tried to dwonload ringtones & wallpapers from wap site... it shows downloading process... but when u open phone files it simply does not shows it... there is a folder call downloaded images, or media files but ucan't access it..can u tell me how to unbale it

W299 CDMA & GSM phone is cheating mobile. It does not have any features that a 10000 worth mobile should have. U cant send data through BLUE Tooth,
It wont ready all music files and image file.
Music player gets logged off as soon as u come to main menu
SO many problem are there.

I own a samsung sch w299 CDMA and GSM duos touch plus keypad mobile phone on 02/04/2010. From Reliance Web World, Esplanade, kolkata.From the very next day it starts the problem. Its voice clearity is really too poor. When i going to starts the web, it reboots. And this phone is too much slow. By touch screen when i going for the any option, it goes to wrong direction.

Please resolve the problem, am a reguler samsung mobile buyer..Now, am really feel pathatic to choose this mobile and for my investment.

I am using Sumsung SCH W299. Last night suddenly screen went green and message on top is on display "File System Startup. Please wait" And keypad is not working even it cant be switched off. I dont know how long I have to wait for the phone to start. I am handicapped since then beacuse of this. I have tried every possible trick I knew...

How i can storage recived files by bluetooth in memory card, Pl tell me as soon as.

Even I am facing same problem, the phone hanged and I was not able to do anything, i removed to battery to shut down the phone, now the phone shows green screen with message, system file startup, please wait. Can anyone please suggest me what to do in this case, where to launch complaint.

samsung corby speed CDMA — Very slow phone

I bought a samsung corby speedy on 14/07/2010 .Samsung says in his ad corby speedy is a fast cdma phone but when i bought it i saw it is a very slow phone. as well as is battery back is very low.
i want refund my money or a better CDMA phone .

This is the most worst phone I have ever seen.I request SAMSUNG to get my W299 and other aggrieved customers'W299 replaced with W259.
It would rather enhance the reputation of SAMSUNG.

samsung corby cdma — Motherboard Change

Purchase Samsung corby CDMA set wide Invoice No 12009/10 Dt 21st Feb 10 from Drive India Enterprises Solution Ltd. logged first complain on 22nd April for not supporting to Network and Blue tooth they rectified and return to me but the problom partly shrted out again visited the same service center which is in Ambhedkar Road there they told us that your mother board having fault so you register the complain as soon we receive the mother board we will change. After 15 days we called them they inform the mother board not yet received contact us after 10 day after that also we did nit receive the same than we contact customer care of samsung they register our complain wide reff. no [protected] after making 4 to 5 calls my set not rectified than they given the mobile no of Mr Sandeep Chowdhary Manager service he promise me that the set will be rectified soon but after one month also it is not rectified and he started ignoring my call than I contact with support [protected]@sasung.com since 23rd July I send 5 reminders every time they promise that my concern person will get in touch with you but till date no body call me if my warranty period expire than whi will be responsible. Please help me out I am fed up with this company.
