[Resolved] Samsung Gt - S5233a Touch Screen — problem with brand new samsung GT-S5233A mobile
I bought this phone from E-ZONE Bangalore, around 3 weeks back. It worked fine for first 10 days. After that I am having a problem with the phone.
One hour after switching on the phone, the phone will go out of network coverage. The signal strength indicator on my phone shows FULL strength though. However if somebody calls my number, they gave a response saying my phone is switched off or out of network. Similarly if I call someone, it just don’t do anything and call will get disconnected or sometimes, it will say “No network coverage and only emergency calls”.
Sometimes when I was in the middle of conversation, there will be no voice for 10 seconds and it works again.
To nail down the problem, I kept the phone in different places (just to make sure of network coverage) and I had the same problem. I tried with different network service providers like airtel, idea and the problem remains same.
I went to the SAMSUNG service station, Domlur, Bangalore. They said it’s a software problem and re installed the software. However the problem still persists.
How to get this rectified ? whom should I approach, same service place again ?
Its not even 1 month completed, so should I get a replacement for this ?
Let me know immediately. It’s a pain to have a phone like this after spending around 10000 and within 1 month with the problem
