[Resolved]  Samsung LED TV — Wall-Mounting Stand Not Provided - According to them it's chargeable

I have purchased a Samsung LED TV from one of the dealers of Samsung called RA Electricals in Vadodara. The billing of the product is 19.09.2012. When we purchased the product, we were asked that a person from Samsung would be visiting our place and if we want then we could be provided with the service of Fitting the Wall Mounting stand for the TV. But it was also added at that point of time that an additional amount would be charged from us and that was of Wall Mounting Stand. No one (Neither RA Electricals nor Samsung Company Service Providers) intimated time period within which we had to take decision.

Now the situation is that RA Electricals, one of the very reputed names in Vadodara, are taking their hands off by saying that we have not said that its going to be a chargeable product. Moreover, they are also adding that they have intimated us for the time frame of 30 days within which we had to call to the toll free number of Samsung and ask for the wall mounting stand in order to get the same from the company. When I called to the customer care number of the Samsung, I had been informed that it is understood that I had to call within 30 days to the customer care number and when someone do not call within 30 days, the product which is supplementary to the product I have purchased gets chargeable.

Now the question here arises is that what is and what should be the role of the company as well as its authorized dealer? It is not all about the money. It is the question of ethics. Neither of them have ethics in mind. In our case, there are so many questions in my mind as a consumer:
- Can the company decide the time frame for the supply of supplementary products? (even if it is in the warranty time stipulated by them?)
- The company does not have any control over its dealers?
- The company can not track the supplementary products in line with the actual product?
- Should dealers not specify the terms and conditions? Or mere giving books related to the products are enough?
- Can a dealer/company say that if you would have ordered the same within 30 days after purchasing a product, then it would have been a free of charge product for you?
- Anyone has seen any of the advertisement suggesting that if you want a wall mounting stand free, then please call Samsung customer care within 30 days?
- The companies are now a days claiming that they are following many Corporate Social Responsibilities. Aren't they taking their hands off from their main responsibilities towards their customers by following such unpractical procedures?
- Can a dealer and/or the manufacturing company can take their hands off in the names of each other?
- Sales, which includes supplementary product sales, can not be traced out? A consumer to whom a TV sold, is not eligible to get a call for the free service and supply of wall mounting stand? and that too from both dealers as well as from service center?

This complaint is not all about me. It involves so many questions of consumers all over the world, specially in India. The quality of service is what matters rather than 1500 Rupees of wall mounting stand. If this will continue in the products and services of any company by the company or the dealer, then I am sure the concept of after sales services will be demolished, at least in India.

Samsung — tv provided is not good

Ihave purchased color TV from reliance digital nasik Make Samsung 29" on 42/march/2011
they delivered it on 25/march/2011. since that it is having display problem. its display comes in a multicolor and inverts the actual color which is really bad to see. i request them to refund my ammount or give me another tv. they are not responding
