[Resolved] Samsung Plano Colour Television — NON-AVAILABILITY OF PARTS
Ihave purchased my colour television of this BRANDED COMPANY SAMSUNG on november 2003 of 4 YEAR WARRANTY with the assurance that the post services are excellent but in september 2009 when there was some problem in my t.v I registered my complaint with customer care BP no: [protected]. After 02 days engineer from maa durga electrical service centre visit and he told that I.C has been damaged which cost Rs 700 - 900, and comment that I.C is not available in the market but they will try to arrange it.On 3/10/09 they took the chesis of the T.V for the same purpose but later they informed that I.C is not available so they have to change the whole chesis which cost Rs 4500. I called up Mr. Khathalia Regional Manager of Samsung he also gave me same funny explanation that it is very old product so parts are not available and maxium things they can do to give me 50% discount for chaning complete chases.. I am amazed that in 06 years the product become very old i don't know in India which middle class family purchase t.v every 2nd yearly within warranty period to avoid such kind of issues. Now my issue is that due to poor services of this BRANDED COMPANY I am paying the extra amont and till date 23/10/09 t.v has been not repaired. Kindly look into the matter because by repairing a TV it has gone up almost one month and nothing has been done.
I need the justification for paying three time more for repair cost and part non availaibility is not my concern because i have bought this TV to understand that it a branded product from SAMSUNG.
