[Resolved] Samsung Refrigerator — Delay in service and 1 month warranty | |||
I booked complaint to Samsung on 1st Nov 2012 for fridge not working. (Complaint No [protected]) Their service person came on 3rd Nov and informed that a part costing Rs 5000 is required and has warranty of only 1 month and will take 3-4 days to arrive. When asked about annual maintenance contract, he said that no such scheme is available I asked him to ask for the part and during next follow up the customer care of Samsung informed that the part will arrive on 7th. Till today part has not come and today Samsung Customer care informed that it will come only on Monday (12th Nov 2012) This is a case of very poor service. Also 1 month warranty given on replacement is unethical as it has to be at least 1 year if it is genuine company replacement done by their service person. I would caution all buyers to consider above factors while making a decision to buy fridge from Samsung.
